   About Kate M
Kate has been specializing in Wagogo ilimba (thumbharp) and traditional songs since 1999. She is a student of the Zawose family of musicians(principally Danford Zawose) in Bagamoyo, Tanzania. Kate has a particular interest in music as a healing art promoting relaxation and well-being both on an individual and community level. Kate gives regular performances and workshops, including music for people in healthcare environments.
