關於我：
last december during 'live n let diy" festival in brisbane a workshop, originally with the purpose of talking about consent and sexual assault issues, became an opportunity for rad kids from all over australia to network and discuss strategies for dealing with these issues and support on a community level. the idea for a nation wide network came up in which each state would have seperate independent collectives which would all come together to support and share ideas and events with each other.
from this emerged THUNDER! based in sydney we are attempting to bring light onto the issues of sexual assault, consent, sexual health and create safer spaces in which to raise awareness and break down common myths or stigma surrounding these issues. we are developing and hope to expand on our resource covering sexual clinics and couselling services available as well as the wider range of options such as legal processes etc.
thunder is most definately an open collective and we are super enthusiastic about anyone wanting to be involved.
