Influences, they differ from singer to singer but some groups include: Blackstone, Black Lodge, Eyabay, Bear Creek, Whitefish Jrs, Red Bull, The Boyz, Young Bird, War Scout, Meskwaki Nation.... just to name a few.....:P
Thundering Spirit is a Powwow Drum group from the Enoch Cree Nation, just west of Edmonton, Alberta. They are a young group and they have been traveling to gatherings and celebrations throughout Canada and the US for 4 years. The group members come from various tribes (Plains Cree, Omushkego Cree, Chipewyan, Saulteux, Sioux) and communities thoughout Canada.
We just finished recording a new CD entitled "GoodLife"! Its release date should be at the Gathering of Nations Powwow in Alberquerque New Mexico, April 26-28. We will be updating the myspace soon with new pics and new tracks. Hope to see you at Gatherings.....:P

Aanii, just thought I would stop by and wish you a wonderful 4th of July. I hope you have a lot of fun, be safe and please take time out of your day to remember our troops that are protecting us here at home,so that we have time to be with our family and friends and for so many that have given their lives for us, both past and present.
