Thy Despair

Bio:

"Thy Despair" band stepped the way of rising to world-wide fame in 2006, when guitarist, screamer and band’s leader Nephilim collected soul mates to play gothic doom metal. At first the band was called "Thoughts of the Desperate" and played slow sombre music with lyrics full of hopelessness and despair. But due to frequent changes in the band’s line-up the music changed as well until 2009, when the line-up was totally formed. The band’s new style was determined as Dark Metal and the name "Thoughts of the Desperate" was changed to "Thy Despair". The band "Thy Despair" tried to promote itself all alone, performing on concerts in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities until the 24th of October 2009, when the band got an opportunity to take part in the TV show about rock culture, called "Another World". After the show was shot, "Thy Despair" was made a proposition of collaboration with creators of the show. At present the band is working on a debut album and a concert show program. This program represents a theatrical metal opera, which is know-how on modern metal stage. This autumn the show will be performed in several European capitals as a part of the band’s tour over Europe, which will be finished in Kyiv at "Palats Sportu" concert hall.
