Present time-Riefenstahl:

How Tiago filled the drum throne on Triumph record: In the year of 2009, Tiago came to Germany to record "TRIUMPH", 3rd studio album of RIEFENSTAHL, produced by the Swiss, Carlos Perón(ex-Yello). Tiago sent to the band some demos of his own projects and some previous ideas for the new songs, and it was exactly what they was searching for. In studio, 16 songs was finished in 3 days, after five days of pre-production.

Songwriting, Influences and Open Mind: On the pre-production Tiago could show to the band that there was a great songwriter far beyond the drums. Working on the structures of the old songs, doing changes, working on new guitar riffs and creating arrangements for the previous stuff, Tiago brought a new spirit to the songs words of the own Riefenstahl members.

How Tiago fill in Riefenstahl: One month in studio, and many conversations about Tiago´s desire to work in USA and Europe, Jens Esch got in contact with his partners, wich has made possible the incoming of Tiago in the band permanently. Surprised days later at Jens´s office, with the contract on his hands, he was sure he had got that job.

Words by Jens Esch: Tiago have the American groove that I can´t find in Germany. He´s influenced by great American drummers as Shannon Larkin and Morgan Rose. He´s also a nice guy with a lot of atitude, necessary in a band.

Past Time:

From 2004 until 2008, still living in Brazil, Tiago was working into a lot of different studio projects and live sessions. In 2004 Tiago filled in the Brazillian 90's Black Metal legends Mystifier. Next year, Tiago would get his first tour in Brazil. The 17 years old drummer Tiago Shade, faced his first tour, and after complete 18 years old, he decided to move to the city of São Paulo, where he had a oportunity to study with many drummers. 2006 Tiago did some gigs with the band Veuliah(Melodic Black/Death Metal) and fillend in the band Reflections Bleed. The 3 following years Tiago dedicated a lot of time working with Reflections Bleed, releasing the first EP in 2007 and the second in 2008, attracting the attention of many agencies and small labels in Europe, but in 2009 Tiago and the other members decided to go in different ways, releasing a comemorative video clipe of the song "Reverse in Mind", playing the last show in 2010. 2010 Tiago was also touring with the band City in Flames and doing some House Music Club Parties with the DJ Rafa Gouveia, playing drums with the eletronic music.

The Projects:

In this four years Tiago was working on many different projects with a lot of musicians. GSF, Godmak, The Shade of Grey and some others, focused to create a good final product for the European market, unfortunately with no big sucess enough to move to Erope and work hard, so than Riefenstahl came together with the triumph, and the next steps are in the near future.
