Tiana is a visual artist and teacher who had been composing music in her spare time for 20 years. Then she took the plunge, quit her day job and enrolled in an electronic music producers program at a Vancouver college. Not wanting to find herself at age 80 regretting that she never tried to do anything with her love of music, she is actively pursuing a new career direction.

As a thank you for taking the time to check her out she offers free downloads of some songs on her Reverbnation page. Please enjoy, and send her your comments.
. . . Tiana is focusing on writing music for film, tv, and commercials. She has a natural ability to put sounds and melodies to images. No doubt this is an outcome of her education in visual art as well as music. The Youtube clip above of "Shadow Boxing" is a recent short film she scored and did the sound design for.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
Thanks again! :-) Your comments are soooo lovely! I just returned from Vancouver, BC where I recorded 4 new songs in Gypsy, Serbian, Farsi & Mandarin. They should be released in the next couple of months. Keep you posted! Have a beautiful week. Love & Light, Emar
It's great to hear from you. Thanks for listening to the tunes. I've been working on a few albums at once, and ended up finishing art for the second one before the first one. Go figure. It's finishing up in the next few weeks however. I'll let you know when it's hot off the presses. What are you working on these days - visually and sonically?
Thanks, Nope those songs are not from my album. We Fit Together was done for a Telus Tv commercial pitch and Muros was done for a live Cirque de soleil type show submission. Can't wait to get the album done though, it's taking a long time! How's your music going?
