The other day we were listening to a song, my babygirl and I. It was about how he had done her wrong, how he had made her cry. My daughter says it must be tough, to be involved with a musician, Cause if you mess up, your business’ll be, the very next rendition. And so I guess the same holds true if you mess around and mess over a poet. ‘Cause we consider it a life experience and let the whole world know it. So you better be good to me baby, or you’ll be the subject of an unflattering poem.
