About me:
TiAnViCa Riding Academy (pronounced Tee-On-Vee-Ka) is a center in which physically, mentally and emotionally challenged individuals receive educational and recreational therapeutic riding activities, hence our motto “Riding for Therapy”. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and a member of the NARHA Organization.
TiAnViCa opened its doors in 2005 with three horses, 2 clients and a handful of volunteers. Three years later we have seven horses, 18 clients and over 25 volunteers that help out in many different ways.
Therapeutic Riding lessons, also known as Equine Assisted Activities, have a proven track record of increasing muscle strength through mounted games and exercises, increased social interaction through theory and stable management classes and increased self-confidence and self-esteem which, in turn, benefits their families, friends and communities where they live.
