As distinct and unusual as her name, Tiba is the unique product of the merging of generations. Coming from the exceptional experience of being raised in New Orleans, Louisiana by parents who collected and restored jukeboxes, Tiba grew up exclusively to the sounds of such legendary performers as Glenn Miller, Perry Como, Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley and The Platters. A distinctive song stylist, Tiba is what we like to call a "female crooner." She pays tribute to her unique upbringing and to the era that helped shape her identity in her Fynsworth Alley debut record "Jukebox Baby."
