Pemsi was born in Lhasa, Capital of Tibet in 1984.
grew up with his grandparent-in-law.
At the age of 8, exiled to India. received education in TCV(Tibetan Children’s Villege)School in Dharamsala for 12years.
He had been soaking himself in music since early time in his school.
2004, after graduation, He produced his Debut Album “REWA” (Hope).
Song “Ama Jetsun Pema”…dedicated to a sister of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, the former principal of TCV…became a big hit. “REWA” has spread not only in Tibetan exile community but also to Tibet.
His music style…Comfortable harmony of Tibetan nostargic, patriotic melody united with Pop and R&B has got popularity especially in young generation of Tibet. For his further study of Tibetan traditional music, learned from TIP
A (Tibetan institute of performing arts)for 1year.
2006, produced his 2nd album “OPPORTUNITY”. Such as “Lhase Bhumo”(lhasa girl), his creative and various tunes are enchanting many listeners.
Since 2006, had performed in overseas, in Canada, Switzerland and United States.
Pemsi offers music and produce another artist actively. in 2008, produced two albums for tibetan artists. Sep2008, first performance in Japan.Released 3rd Album"MY WAY" in March 2009.

Dalai Lama to provided a modern education to children from the village
while insuring their religious and cultural heritage. Without this
