The Ticket, government name David Edmonds, was rushed from D.C. to be born March 2, 1986 a twin in Fairfax Hospital. Growing up was extremely hard with a mother who was a single parent not a native to the U.S. As a very young child he and his brother were left alone daily and frequently explored the streets. They suffered through homelessness, sleeping in cars, and living in less fortunate places. During his 23 years, he has suffered pains, agonies, troubles and heartache that many people won't experience. Anyone coming from the same origin can relate and imagine the struggle. Those who have had both parents and an easy life did not understand him nor relate to him. Throughout his lifetime he has always adapted to his environments. During his middle and high school years he tried hard to study and play sports to escape poverty. He was a great student and excellent at sports but the trap of fast money and drugs caught up to him and eventually ruined his chances of being successful in this fashion. Very talented and ambitious he hopes his music will be an outlet to change his situation and the situation of others.
