Reaktion & Tapsit are very happy to introduce 2 new records of tuareg music:
TERAKAFT : LIVE 2008
6 tracks recorded during the European tour 2008. Includes 2 unreleased tracks: “Targa” et “Ewarnanagh”
AZAWAD : LIVE 1999
Behind the name of Azawad are hidden three original members of the Tinariwen collective: Abdallah, Hassan and Kedou. These are the live recordings made in 1999 in France, which can perhaps be considered Tinariwen’s first concert outside Africa.
Only available for downloads on all the legal platforms (iTunes, emusic...).
Exclusively on tamasheq. net : tracks + digital booklets (english & french).
Reaktion Records is very happy to introduce AZIZA BRAHIM, the new voice of the sahrawi people. ‘Mi Canto’ is her first 5 tracks EP only available on downloads on all the legal platforms (iTunes, emusic…). Exclusively on tamasheq. net: the 5 tracks + a digital booklet (english-spanish-french).
I was.. Wondering wut u think of this crazy IDEA of mine!
I have been asked to play drum tracks for several bands throughout the world. SO- i came up with this cool idea of putting together a GLOBAL CD.
This CD will include one song from each individual band- to include 21 different songs and bands throughout the world, all coming together with one Drummer, drumming for ONE World- on one CD. The Global CD! whew! I am aready working with a band in India, istanbul, italy, japan, and France- ohhh, switzerland and panama too.
Right now, i am collabing via WAV files online, and low low low budget studio Pro-tools editing from a friend.
Being that this is a GLOBAL idea- i am at the point where i am going to need some sponsors or major support. For this, I don't even know where to start.
It's slow going for me, doing it all on my own- but fun, none the less.
Let me know if you can possibly help, or would like to be a part of this Global CD project.
