7 Cities Crafters

About me:

We are the 7 Cities Crafters (formerly The Norfolk Craft Mafia). We’re a collective of independent artists, crafters and creatives. We have monthly craft-togethers the first Sunday evening of each month where we share food, work on projects and just have fun being around like minded creative people. They’re free and open to the public. We also host skill-sharing workshops (free to 7 Cities Crafters members), and would love your help if you have a valuable skill to share! In the past we’ve hosted everything from knitting to ceramics to embroidery to collage. If you have suggestions for other workshops you’d like to see (or even better, ones you’d like to help teach), please go post in the forum! Our first annual holiday arts & crafts show, Handmade Parade was held on November 10, 2007 here in Norfolk. It was a rousing success and lots of people got their holiday shopping done while supporting independent artists and avoiding the malls!
