(quickie write up of 2006's newly formed Tidy Kid)
Tidy Kid, the alter ego of a somewhat overly imaginative guy. A fictional musical character (one could say), conceptualized to help push musical and sound experimentation's, in the hope for a new outlook and philosophy on life and the brain's relationship with ones spirit.......... dot .
Set in design, Ep releases are always created with project conditioning rules and restrictions set in place, to allow a deeper satisfaction of observation and discovery. Album's on the other hand are the contrast of this, presenting large variety's of imagination, production styles and live applications.
Since starting to Produce musicians in 1998, Tidy has worked with a very large variety of styles, tastes, attitudes, ego's and talents. Playing with perceptions and snow balling basic tasks whilst restoring some back to simplicity, is what Tidy loves to do. He hopes to continue making music indenfiantely, whilst helping to tear down the walls of restrictive thought and un-leash the un-trusted truth within.
News: Currently Tidy is building a full length album release which will soon find it's way to a few desired label's of which Tidy would like to dance with. Expect a 2010 Debut Album, and a couple late 2009 concept Ep's!!
4th EP, "One Week With My Casio" . Tidy's 4th concept Ep . . . this one was based around simplicity with an out dated production style . restricted to using an old family owned Casio Keyboard . with vocals and guitar's as only allowance . hence it's release as a limited edition cassette . a variety of secondary imperfections have been left in the compositions to create certain deviated fractals . think this one is Tidy's favourite effort thus far .
