A collection of Grateful Dead "staples"! It was recorded as a "live performance" in a studio, basically in half a day. No one was trying to sound like Jerry, or copy Jerry's licks. Instead, the musicians just played from their hearts, which allowed their individual styles to flow and shine through the music. A true highlight are the soulful vocals of Carlos Santana's multiple grammy award winning lead singer, TONY LINDSAY.

Mixing engineer Tom Flye said, "There's some great stuff here. Probably the best versions of these tunes I've ever heard; including from The Dead themselves."
