T i f f a n y J o y is a singer/songwriter with a flair for the dramatic. Having spent most of her life studying theatre and dance, her love of performing becomes apparent when watching her onstage. Her silky smooth jazz voice and Latin beats are reminiscent of the kind of music you would hear drifting out of some obscure café in an exotic locale. Being bilingual and having a deep love for the Latino culture, she writes her material in both Spanish & English. (She also throws in a couple of Bossa Nova standards for good measure).
Being a poet since childhood who has also been blessed with a passionate love of music, Tiffany blends insights gained from her life experiences with creativity & cleverness to create songs that not only touch the heart and tickle the funny bone ... but also have the ability to inspire the soul. Her lyrics range from profound to comical as she deals with issues of life, love, faith, and the challenges of learning & growing through relationship. A Tiffany Joy performance is a memorable experience that wouldn't be complete without the seasoning provided by her zany sense of humor and the unpredictability of her unique comedic timing.
Tiffany loves traveling and meeting people from various cultures. At the age of 25, she has already completed two self-promoted tours. In 2002 she traveled & performed for two months in Chile, and also completed a tour & performance in Peru, and a three-month stay with performances in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2006). Aside from her South American performances, Tiffany has performed in Northern and Southern California, and is presently playing venues all around the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2004 Tiffany teamed up with musician/producer Marcio Brenes and a group of talented musicians to begin recording her first full-length debut album which features six songs in Spanish and six in English. While recording the album, Tiffany simultaneously attended college and in December of 2005 graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish Linguistics and a minor in Musical Theatre.
?In August of 2007, Tiffany celebrated the release of her bilingual album "El Ritmo del Mundo" along with a packed house of fans at the historic Purple Onion in San Francisco, CA. The album is now available for purchase via this web site .. or through iTunes, CD Baby or various other online and retail establishments.
"What I love about music is that it is not only an outlet for me, but it has the capability of being an emotional outlet for others. As humans, we can all relate to having human experiences. Music has the power to heal and to unite. I believe that even in the most hopeless situation, music can provide comfort, answers even. It is my goal to write songs that evoke emotion and provide inspiration. I am definitely at the beginning of what I'm sure will be an amazing journey. If something in my music speaks to you. . . I urge you to listen, it was written from a place of beauty, honesty, and hope."

Hey, I'm backing Martha Reeves this week! Martha and the Vandellas were one of the top girl groups of the early 60s and a major star for the early Motown label. Their hits included "Jimmy Mack",
"Heatwave", "Nowhere to run" and of course "Dancing in the Streets".
I'll be playing bass for her this week Tuesday thru Sunday at the Rrazz Room - 222 Mason St at the Niko Hotel in SF.
Hey How's it going??;) stop in anytime and have a listen! I'm now taking donations for my downloads, message me for more details. My hard copies are 9.99 plus shipping. But I will accept what ever you can afford for my high quality mp3.s.
Tom Ammaniano (state assemblyman from San Francisco) just introduced a
bill into the state assembly to tax and regulate marijuana as we do
alcohol -- i.e., it would be legalized, taxed, and regulated. Like
alcohol, sales would be limited to folks over 21, penalties would be in
place for dui, sale to minors, etc. in other words, it sounds like the
right approach. The bill's official number is AB390, and more info will probably be available soon at www. norml. org and www. mpp. org.
If you have a minute, call and/or email your state assembly person and
Senator to encourage them to support the bill. You can look up their
contact info online based on your zip code:
http://www. legislature. ca. gov/port-zipsearch. html.
Feel free to pass this along. The bill is fighting an uphill battle
against a vast legacy of misguided and uninformed policy, and it will
only have a chance of passing if people speak up in favor.
This bill will provide California with one billion dollars of revenue each year (each ounce is taxed $50)
