About me:

I'm a part time pre-school teacher. I have a passion for teaching and for animals! I have now began teaching again and am excited about that. It has been a LONG HARD road but only the Lord has given me the strength to get here. On April 21st 2009 my mom lost her battle with cancer and is now in the arms of the Lord! I also found out that my father has prostate cancer and is battling that:( We as a family have come together and realized how fragile life is and how fast the people you care about can be taken from you in a blink of an eye... I am blessed to have had the time that I have left with them every day and thank the Lord above for giving me the privlege of caring for her every day! Through this our family has been brought together in ways only God could explain! My life with my husband and children is "to say the least" everything I could of ever asked for:) Football starts soon and my boys are going to be great! Shane loves coaching and I love to see them all having a blast! My daughter is now 18:) Yes, 18! She is Priceless...! I love her more than words can say! She is so strong and focused! She always says whats on her mind and has a heart of pure gold. God truly blessed me with an Angel:) She is going to have a wonderful, blessed life and make a Spectacular mother and wife one day! I have a Beautiful niece who is getting so big and becoming a woman before my eyes. She is a very strong spirited girl and has a Smart head on her shoulders and I know will go far in life, and stay on the right path! My Nephew who is so.. cute that I could just kiss him to death.. well only time will tell but, I can bank on it that he will be strong willed and very outgoing with a whole lot to say, just like his cousin Zachery!! My sister has always been there for us when we need anything. We only wish we were closer so we could spend more time growing our families together! As for the future, only God knows what is in store... And you know what? I am O.K. with that. I Love my life and have FAITH that Everything is going to be just fine! We have learned a while ago to live our lives on "FAITH" and "NOT FEELINGS"! It is really hard still but when we stick to it we are being blessed every day:) As for ALL our "Church Family", We have never had the love and compassion that we have the privlage of experiencing daily in all that they do for us! You know who you are and WE "THANK YOU" from the bottom of our hearts:) I am looking forward to going back to school when things balance out. I hope to see my daughter soon and just hug her:) I am looking forward to "Swanson Summer Series #3" LOL. I can see the light at the end of a dark tunnel and it is getting brighter... We hope to spend a lot of time with Britt and Garrett if they want and do fun stuff this summer! Thank you Shane for being my Rock and completing me:) I Love you and I thank you for going through this with me! You always know how to make me laugh and how to keep a smile on my face:) As for the rest of my story, well I believe that this is only the beginning:) Life is all about Trust, and Tests, it is how we handle them that make us who we are. I firmly believe that when you look in the mirror, it should not be what you see on the outside, it is what is inside that only matters. "You don't have to LOOK like you are a beautiful person, to be one"! I love my family and my life and I am ready for the next chapter to begin...
