 Tiger Cult hails from the city of Sao Paulo, and was originally called Angry Angel.

Among the noise, the pollution and the ever-growing violence of their hometown, the band forged its distinct style, delivering pure aggression that is fused with all kinds of musical influences - raging from Van Halen to Carcass.

On the road since 1.996, and matured by their extensive local touring, Tiger Cult felt it was time to record their first album. Teaming up with Die Hard Records, their intention was to offer the listener a top class record, one of a high level of artistic integrity, with top notch production.

Cold and Terrible, the result of this team effort, was recorded, mixed and mastered at Nimbus Studios, in Sao Paulo; and released in february 2004.

The album showcases eleven songs of the purest Heavy Metal, lyrically eclectic, and filled with the necessary dose of aggression something that seemed to be missing in the local scenario.

After a three-year tour, the band is completelly focused on composing and recording the next album to be called: The Worst Omen.

O Tiger Cult surgiu na cidade de São Paulo, inicialmente com o nome de Angry Angel.

Em meio ao barulho, à poluição e à violência, a banda desenvolveu um estilo próprio de fazer Heavy Metal, fundindo a agressividade captada do ambiente com influências musicais das mais variadas – que vão de Van Halen a Carcass.

Na ativa desde 1996, e com um histórico de apresentações que lhe conferiu a experiência necessária para a gravação de seu primeiro álbum, o Tiger Cult associou-se ao selo Die Hard Records, com o firme propósito de tomar de assalto o mercado fonográfico, oferecendo aos ouvintes um trabalho de alto nível técnico e profundo grau de integridade artística.

Cold and Terrible, o resultado da parceria, foi inteiramente gravado, mixado e masterizado no Nimbus Studios.

Sem tratar de um tema específico, o álbum é um conjunto de onze composições do mais puro Heavy Metal, liricamente eclético, e com a indispensável dose de agressividade que parecia estar se perdendo no cenário atual.

Após a bem sucedida turnê de divulgação do primeiro disco, o Tiger Cult volta seus esforços para a compor o novo álbum: The Worst Omen.
