Music is beautiful. Music is freedom. Music is a passion. Music is my TRUE self-expression... Why limit yourself to one genre?... But I guess if I had to throw down some inspirations... Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Sigur Roos, Anna Frolick, Janet Jackson, George Clinton & the Mothership, Usher, Capitol A, Dave Matthew Bands, Coldplay, Jimpster, Jesse Rose, Switch, Solid Groove, Duke Ellington, James Brown, Maroon 5, Gorillaz, Blur, Mark Farina, DJ Heather, Danny Howells, Massive Attack,
What? Why would you want to know anything about me?!?! No one important over here... But I guess that might not be true seeing that I have a few friends underneath my belt... not literally because if that was the case I would be a MUCH happier individual. Thanks for taking the time to scan my page & spit a comment or three...
Basically I am individual whom resides in Boston, MA. I am a MASSHOLE to the fullest in the extent that I was born & raised in MA. But thanks to the education shoved into my skull I lost my accent & basically became RETARDED... I love music... ALL FORMS of music. I DJ Deep House & Downtempo. Throw in almost any form of music & I am sure I can start a set or two...
I am a small part of a record label called Bassmint Recordings LLC... There are 3 of us in total... you can see them in my friends section. As for production, I currently have some EPs I plan on shopping in January... 4 in fact. One EP will feat. a www.marzentertainment.com EP of collaborations between Marz & Mint... The 2nd EP comprises of all originals by some schmuck named Carl... & the 3rd EP will be a Bassmint EP release. & I am out of ideas now... but at least I spit some hot fire!!!
2006 has been fantastic in that I have been able to meet more of the artists & musicians in the electronic music genre that have inspired me while @ the same time search back into the classics for a stronger foundation. I have fallen head over heals into jazz & classic rock of the late with a little side of blues. No expert hear... still a sweating beginner in all of this... but isn't that part of the excitement of it all?
2007 has started off with an explosion. I have landed two solid residencies in two different venues in NH. You can typically catch me in Portsmouth, NH once a month on Thursday night residency at www.reddoorportsmouth.com & then once a month on Saturday @ www.doversoul.com These two hot spots have an incredible vibe of young college students & young professionals in an around the northeast. We have been very fortunate enough to host guest spots to many rising talents in the house scene.
This LAYOUT was MADE by me ;
After very long and exhausting negotiations that we've conducted with the distributors we are now happy to announce that Beatport have finally approved our diffusion application and our first PERCENT REC release is already out!
PERCENT REC 01 was released only after we've organized a Remix Contest and we've chosen from the remixes very carefully.
The Techno, Minimal Tech, Electronica and Experimental sounding of this release will really make you danc? after you've started listening to it. :)
Typical but elegant sound by Alan Barratt, minimal hypnotic elements by Doctor Trash, minimal tech-house full of energy by Hertzman, deep minimal-tech by Alex Aqlieri, stylish Ukrainian techno by Yuri Alexeev and experimental tech by See Why at the end will make your senses feel far more than you need so that you assimilate the music well enough.
You can buy this EP from Beatport, Juno, DJShop and other online stores.

Nick Maurer is a co-founder of the Chicago group Greenskeepers and father of tongue-in-cheek sound that made the band one of house music’s best kept secrets. His new solo title “Wash My Hands” is proof of Maurer’s uncanny ability to make the dance floor move and smile at the same time.Musically, Wash My Hands is a funky steamroller that will flatten anyone that dares stand in its way. Remixally speaking, Wash My Hands is a cornucopia of musical pleasures featuring some of house music’s hottest talent. Miles Maeda, Thomas White, The Loopidy Goofs, Combined and Gramophonedzie push the track in a bunch of..different directions and make the song accessible to any DJ looking for something new and original.

Gav Littlemen: Love the original and Programming
Ben (Brown/Unpopular) i like all the tracks. my favourites of real thang are the original and toms mix - especially like the rudebwoy b-line and old style beats of the TSI mix.my favourite of the whole release is programming - i think mostly cos of the samples and the way they are arranged. its good fun.
Mike (Kolour): sch's original broke new ground for these guy's sound. it has a nice disco vibe that works really well in the mix. i've been playing it since john sent it moons ago. the mastering on it came out perfect too. really brings the tune to life.damien's remix features more of the vocal and that's never a bad thing as far as i'm concerned. he churned out yet another remix where he takes the original tune and makes it his own. this is definitely something i'll play tom's remix is definitely a departure from the other two versions. he adds a level of filth to it that contrasts the dynamic of the EP just enough to give it that 'something for everyone' feel.
Quell: I LOVED Damien's old/new school remix and the original version of that track and i really like Toms 'programming' track.
Strakes (Lost My Dog): Original mix of Real Thang is sounding good – r
