Tropical, west coast, veggie & water gardening. Camping in the Pacific Northwest. Hunting for tiki, vintage hawaiian wear & Christmas stuff, records and various mid-century items at thrift stores, flea markets & garage sales. Mixing & drinking cocktails, baking & cooking, photography, web & graphic design. Quilting & painting, when I have time. I also belong to a 350 member choir.Music

The Neverending story & Pee Wee's Big Adventure are all time favorites, but really there are too many to list. I also like cheesy horror movies, silly vintage films, porn, I'll watch pretty much anything once.Television
Dexter, Breaking Bad, Weeds, Flight of the Conchords, Family Guy etc. etc., Canada's Worst Handyman always makes me laugh. I don't watch much adult TV and download these shows instead.Books
I have a big stack of anthropology books I can't wait to crack, but more often than not I find myself reading Terry Pratchett, my favorite author. I love books that make me laugh until I cry. Hardcover visually pleasing books make me drool, such as Book of Tiki, PAD, Tiki Modern, Tiki Quest, Season's Gleamings: The Art of the Aluminum Christmas Tree. Bartending guides are never lonely in my collection, vintage or new I love them all.Heroes
