"Tikkun Olam" is a Hebrew phrase that means "Repairing the World".
In today's society its easy to look around and see that there is a lot that needs fixing.
And because we are constantly being given bad news from the television, newspapers and the internet, its easy for one to feel helpless and simply acquiesce to the way things are.
In Tikkun Olam we aim to fix the world together through RANDOM DAILY ACTS OF KINDESS, and support each other by sharing stories of our actions, not to be self appreciative, but to inspire others and keep us strong.
Tikkun Olam is about being SELFLESS. That could not be more important. Sometimes nice things may come back to you because of your kind actions, but if they don't, remember: your action was the only desired effect.
Strive to be completely selfless.
Do things that no one else wants to do, not because you want to do it, but because it will make things better for everyone else.
Share a kind word to a random stranger and brighten someone's day, you might just change their outlook and never ever know it.
Pay it forward and become an inspiration.
