(This next part should really go in the About Me section, but the page looked un-balanced.)
Things to know about me:
I’m a movie buff.
I like many types of movies, but I’m not big on gore.
Things that at one time I could call a hobby include paintball and skydiving.
I am a thrill-seeker. Exploration, adventure, and G-forces thrill and amuse me to no end.
I have traveled overseas and intend on doing so for the rest of my life. The thought of world travel is enthralling.
I've crossed both the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean twice; I've been two 7 foreign countries; and I've used 5 different kinds of foreign currency - euros, francs, pounds, ringgits, and baht.
I drive fast, but as my friends eventually come to realize, I’m damn good at it and you really don’t need to fear for your life while in my car ... just hang on.
Although I have virtually no mechanical skills beyond changing my oil, I tend to drool endlessly over flashy sports cars and powerful muscle cars.
Once I amass my empire, I intend on having a small fleet of these things of beauty.
I will also have either an airplane or a chopper (or both). I have a passion for the skies.
My next car will be a black mustang, mark my words.
I’m a working college student. That translates to “I have a hectic schedule.”
I'm gay, and I enjoy breaking people's stereotypes about it.
I am a bachelor and live as you might expect one to. I only do my laundry when I’m either out of underwear or socks. My kitchen floor is constantly dirty, and similar to the laundry, I only do the dishes when I run out of forks. (...I do clean for company though ;-)
I enjoy living alone in my 1-bedroom apartment.
I’ve met few drinks who didn’t like me.
I like to go to Komets games, and I enjoy UFC fights and MMA fights in general.
The only things I play you could call sports might be pool, bowling, and golf mainly, although I don't claim to be good at any of them.
I strive to be an open book.
I try to be easy-to-know and down to earth.
I have an eclectic taste in music (or at least I’d like to think so).
Even though I probably have a larger-than-normal vocabulary, I’m a bad speller. So I guess they cancel out.
Every Indiana winter that goes by seems more cold, bitter, dreary, daunting, depressing, and cruel than the last. I am definitely bound for warmer weather.
After I graduate, which looks to be the end of 2009, I believe I will be moving down towards the Indy/Carmel area. I've seen a lot of technology jobs down there, and I think it will be a nice transitional area to let my post-graduation finances stabilize a bit before I go moving into a higher cost of living.
I own two cats, although I hate how that sounds. I don't wanna be 'the cat guy', ya know lol? But whatever, they're lovable and they bring a smile to my face...most of the time.
Although I think I give it a good go, I’m no expert in fashion, and I don't do much shopping. The shopping might be because of my cheap-ass nature and/or my college budget. Besides, it’s an inherited trait as well. I learned from the best. My mom has an uncanny ability to stretch a buck further than anyone I've ever seen at the grocery store.
Anyway, there's plenty more inane facts if you'd like to know them. Just ask me about my travels, and I'll never shut up. You may have to stop me lol.
These are all my European vacation pics. They go by a bit quit with all my commenting, but you can pause em. It's best if you start on #1 and just go manually.
I’m looked down on by some and downright revered by others. I am a crazy, irresponsible party animal to some and a with-it over-achiever to others. At times I’m outgoing and the life of the party, and at others, I’m perfectly content to be alone and un-bothered by the rest of the world. I’m a wanderer, a motivator, an activist, a protector, a caretaker, a bully (in traffic), a musician, an artist, a thrill-seeker, a leader, a follower, a philosopher, a lover (and a fighter). I’m both rich and poor; blessed and cursed; motivated and un-motivated - all at the same time. In my family, I’m the gay one, the wild one, the lush, the college student, and the single bachelor of the bunch.
In short, I am a black sheep.

"Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don't be afraid of it or what other people think of it. It's the greatest instrument you'll ever own."
(this is one of my personal favorites) "Our own painful struggle for existence sometimes destroys our feeling for the misery of those who have remained behind."
"Without challenge there is no achievement."
"Failing to prepare is preparing to fail."

"...if money cant buy happiness, I'll rent it" - Danny Fricken K. (modified Weird Al quote)
When in doubt about whether to attempt anything daring, adventurous, or unknown in your life, just do it. It is better to have tried and failed at something than never to have tried in the first place.
- Chris Kostman
"Rush Limbah did so many drugs Courtney LOVE would say 'Ya know what, I cant. I gotta work tomorrow.'" – Margaret Cho
"...they have no right to call themselves Christians because they have no Christianity to them - they have no kindness, they have no compassion, they have no charity. I want Jesus to come back and say 'THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!'" - Margaret Cho a.k.a. the Fag Whisperer

"It is the nature of such things to be destroyed by defect and excess, as we see in the case of strength and of health; both excessive and defective exercise destroys the strength, and similarly drink or food which is above or below a certain amount destroys the health, while that which is proportionate both produces and increases and preserves it. So too is it, then, in the case of temperance and courage and other virtues. For the man who flies from and fears everything and does not stand his ground against anything becomes a coward, and the man who fears nothing at all but goes to meet every danger becomes rash...temperance and courage, then, are destroyed by excess and defect, and preserved by the mean." - Aristotle
"For moral excellence is concerned with pleasures and pains; it is on account of the pleasure that we do bad things, and on account of the pain that we abstain from the noble ones." - Aristotle
"We regard self-sufficiency as a great good, not so that we may enjoy only a few things, but so that, if we do not have many, we may be satisfied with the few, being firmly persuaded that they take the greatest pleasure in luxury who regard it as least needed, and that everything that is natural is easily provided, while vain pleasures are hard to obtain. Indeed, simple sauces bring a pleasure equal to that of lavish banquets..." - Epicurus
"If what goes around comes around, then I should be getting a shitload!" - me :-)

Who I'd like to meet: On the topic of who I'd like to meet (besides a couple of my celebrity fascinations below), qualities my ideal candidate may posses include honesty, openness, a sense of adventure and discovery, compassion, someone who likes to keep up with what's going on around them in the world. Someone to travel with me and enjoy it just as much as I do. Someone who will be with me whether I live as a beach bum or in a penthouse suite. Someone who can help me appreciate life for all it's worth and live every day to its fullest.
Personally, I don't believe we all only have one person that we were meant to be with. That would be a rather bleak concept if you think about it. So I chose to believe there are at least several "ones" out there. I'll meet mine some day, and for now, I'm just trying to focus on bettering myself.
A law class huh? That does sound interesting... My business law class was probably more favorite out of ALL my business courses I took. I learned A LOT. However, a photography class sounds fun to. I'm sorta jealous to be honest! haha
Glad vacation allowed you find this strength in which you speak of. There isn't any other way to live life than to enjoy it. :)
