"Tim Ambler is a singer/songwriter with a difference - he is also a barrister. He has just released his debut album "Tim Ambler". The album contains twelve songs, six solo written and six collaborations and features two of the Corrs' backing musician / producers, Anto Drennan and Billy Farrell. Good company! I have to say that the album is very strong throughout and names like Cat Stevens, Jim Croce and Jimmy Webb come to mind. Lyrically the album changes direction nearly from song to song, from "You'll always be the one" to "Karma comes to play". "The Corner", to be released soon as a single is undoubtedly the song of the album, followed by my own personal favourite "Falling from a Satellite". This is a guy to watch out for as he is obviously a very talented melodic writer. Sean Lane"

I SWEAR not to book a Scotland trip in September!!! Yes, that was SUCH a pity, we missed each other. Scotland was great anyway and when I was back I went to the SI Zentrum on that Thursday to see who's playing there instead of you. A guy I didn't know. Gabriele and a friend was with me and I took a wee video of the Dubliner with my mobile and sent it to you saying: "Guess where I am at the moment and where are YOU??" :-), but I'm afraid it was the moment you already had gone back to China!
