Writing, making videos, reading (not as much I used to or would like to) When I am not doing that, I'm at the gym, running, out on the trails on my mountain bike, taking in a movie, chilling online or watching the tube. As you read this, I am probably intoxicated...makes that DEFINITELY intoxicated :)
Music
Not much that's current, though I still hear something new I like once in awhile -- I love Lady Gaga, of course... Other than that, pretty much anything from Beethoven to the Beatles. Props to The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Elton John, Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, The Gin Blossoms, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Better Than Ezra, Counting Crows, The Killers, A Simple Plan, Metro Station, Boys Like Girls, All American Rejects, Jason Mraz, Jimmy Eats World
Movies
(In no order at all) The Dark Knight, Y Tu Mama Tambien, The American President, October Sky, Cloverfield, Star Wars: The Revenge of the Sith, Air Force One, Jarhead, Advise and Consent, Groundhog Day, Apollo 13, Latter Days, The Broken Hearts Club, Trick, To Kill a Mockingbird, Casablanca, A Few Good Men, Titanic, Jurassic Park (mainly the first one) Another Gay Movie (ONLY the first one), Independence Day, Dolores Claiborne, A Christmas Carol, It's a Wonderful Life, all the Harry Potters, The Covenent
Television
New stuff: It's like ALL HBO...True Blood, Generation Kill, John Adams, Real Time with Bill Maher...on CNN it's The Situation Room and Anderson Cooper 360, On the CW (really)all that's left is Supernatural...On CBS it's Criminal Minds, The Unit, CSI: New York...Just two on NBC, and that's Heroes and Friday Night Lights...over on ABC (where we used to find Pushing Daisies) I love Ugly Betty...and on FOX, we have Fringe, and (I hope) The Sarah Connor Chronicles (that Terminator show, it's actually pretty cool) I wish a fond farewell to Jericho on CBS, great show, they just didn't get the numbers) As for the Old Stuff that you find on DVD: The West Wing (only my fave show, ever) Buffy, Angel, most of the Star Treks, shit like that....from all this you can glean I like a bit of the occult, a bit of science fiction, compelling crime shit, political content, and the military stuff
Books
To Kill a Mockingbird, Debt of Honor, The Stand, It, Needful Things, The Winds of War, War and Remembrance, Childhood's End, Rendezvous with Rama, The Songs of Distant Earth, The Foundation Series, A Separate Peace, War and Peace, A Tale of Two Cities, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich...and of course, MY books: Chasing Adonis: Gay Men and The Pursuit of Perfection; Reeling in the Years: Gay Men's Perspectives on Age & Ageism; Sissyphobia: Gay Men & Effeminate Behavior
Heroes
All the U.S. servicemembers around the world, waking up in the deserts of Iraq, or the mountains of Afghanistan...they're putting their lives on the line for you and for me...please spare a thought for these brave Americans
