Tim Buckley lived a short life, but was one hell of a singer and song-writer. His production varies from contemporary folk to avant-garde chanting. Luckily his memory breathes through his recordings.

I'll never forget when i discovered Tim. The song was "Sweet Surrender" and to be perfectly truthful i've never been able to get over it, and i'll take for granted that i'll listen to it for the rest of my life.
I've got all of Tim's music, and to me he is a consistent force. Other favorites of mine might move up or down in my playlist, but Tim is and has been ever since i discovered him in my top choices when it comes to what music i'll put on.
Too bad it's not possible to thank him, but i still think that every musician carrying on with the inspiration of Tim is in a way a thank you to him. Although to a gift that keeps on giving all the time.
