Music
..
..
I have performed all styles of country, rock, contemporary Christian, Gospel, Praise and Worship, funk, pop, folk, cajun, and blues with a little jazz, reggae, punk, and hip hop. I don’t do metal. I tried the double bass thing for about a year and realized I stunk at it, so I sold the pedal. I find something to like about almost all forms of music and listen to different styles everyday. I look for music that picks me up.
Some honors and awards I've received include:
(2001) - United States Gold Medal Winner, Small Ensemble Friendship Arts and Music Festival, Pyongyang, North Korea.
(2002) - Band of the Year, Musician’s Association of Central Texas.
(2004, 2006) - Instructor of the Year Nominee, Musician’s Association of Central Texas.
(2004) - First Prize Float, Mother Load Parade, Sonora, CA.
Performances on national and international television broadcasts.
(2006) - Voter’s Choice Band of the Year, 94.5FM Topeka, KS.
