Welcome to the official Myspace page for Timebomb @ Retribution and Timebomb Promotions. We are a punk night and 1 man punk gig promotions outfit based in Leicester in the UK.
We currently play on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of every month at Retribution rock club in Leicester on the middle floor. We play everything along the lines of punk, ska, psychobilly, reggae, oi, 2 tone and everything else inbetween....
So you can expect to hear everything from Cock Sparrer to Consumed.... The Specials to Save Ferris.... The Meteors to Horrorpops..... Everything from the old to the new and we're always open to requests and aim to have a song by the following session if we don't have it on the night.
We also promote gigs in and around the Leicester area. In the past we've put on everybody from The Peacocks to Judder And The Jack Rabbits along with some major international acts like Satori and Bastard Squad
If you are in a band and would like to send us your CD for us to play at Timebomb then get in touch and we'll sort you out with contact information. The same applies to record lables and distro companies who wish to send us free stuff haha!....
Over the coming weeks and months we'll be putting up our setlists each week for our nights so you can see what your missing out on or find out what a certain song was!

7th June - at *Kreepers* we will be doing a promo night for Calabrese ( The worlds greatest horror punk band ) We will have giveaways on the night from them also playing live will be “Hollywood Suicide” and we have DJ Grimly Fiendish from Misery of Sound joining me on the decks for a night of Horrorpunk and Psychobilly…..

Things are cranking along nicely down here. Been playing a fair bit and taking in some interstate touring. Even a possibility of a fully funded tour of India on the cards!! Duff quit though! Spew. We've got a new bloke Dean who seems to be working out and he looks strangely a lot like Ash from Evil Dead! Can only be a good thing I guess. Like your new axe by the way! Are you still doing the Misfits band and do you still catch up with the BYM lads and ladettes? As Blackpool 09 creeps closer we can't help but feel we're missing out. Would be great to get back there in 09 so we can get wasted and catch up and watch animal husbandry live on a couch in Halifax! Hope all is well with you and yours, Alex

*Kreepers* is back on the 3rd May at our super new venue. We have DJ Cherry Fuzz & MadmanRoll from “Death by Mono” Records and a live set from Luna Vegas ( onstage 10:30 ) Please don’t park in the car park behind the venue.

We are a ska band from the west midlands and were wondering if you had any slots available that we could play?
We are a fourpiece and our style has been described as a mix between farse/capdown/operation ivy, we have a new ep coming out beginning of may and can send you tracks over earlier if you want to listen to our sound now (as our recording on myspace were done over a year ago and our sound has moved on a little).
Retribution have provided the best rock night in Leicester for nearly 6 years.
As of May 2008 Leicester Square Venue have decided they’d like to promote their own Saturday night therefore Retribution will be moving.
This is your rock night, your scene, your culture.
The people who make it happen, all the DJs, management and bar staff who have always been with us since Oxygen/ Sector 5 will be moving with us.
Please be aware that there is no link between this and what happened to Panic. It’s an unfortunate coincidence, the Panic DJs chose to leave Leicester Square, Retribution hasn’t been given a choice.
As always we would love to hear your opinions on recent events, how you feel about Leicester Square and where you’d like to see Retribution next.
