At this point i think we've been influenced by just about everything under the sun. The electric company, Fox in Sox, Clark Gable, The Magician, Solar Energy, you name it. Pretty much everything except the WNBA. To list any one person specifically would be a slap in the face to the hundreds of talented and supportive people that have taught the three of us what we know today......except for Sal's dad, who's bare ass, kitty shootin ways will keep us laughing indefinately. Inside joke? Maybe....but if that isn't self explanatory then i don't know what is........you should probably look under "SOUNDS LIKE" now...

How about you listen and YOU tell us what we sound like?
We're three guys from Nassau County, L.I. with an apparent need to write catchy, unnecessarily long tunes that you can't tap your foot to. Sal's got ridiculously long hair, Rob tells the best worst jokes ever, and Steve can name all 11 herbs and spices in Colonel Sanders' fried chicken recipe....in alphabetical order. We went with progressive rock because we wanted a challenge and truthfully, we just got really bored of what we were finding in the modern rock scene (generally speaking). The whole instrumental thing spanned from writing the songs without having a vocalist which turned into never finding a vocalist that could fit the bill, ........soooooo....... viola!

Let me say that I do not know this family, but am very aware of the situation at hand and fully support this cause. Dawn Lane has been fighting cancer for some time, now. Last night, the fight ended and she passed away. God rest her soul. Dawn leaves behind a beautiful baby boy and husband who have to go on without a wife and mother. THE PITS will be the featured artist tomorrow night on the Dr. Rock & The Medicine Show radio program (this Saturday night 10 PM - 4 AM Pacific). The good doctor stirs up an eclectic brew of classic rock on his weekly program, ranging from Zep to Stones to James Gang. He’ll be dropping the needle on our entire “Up in Front” album.
Time In Motion thanks for being a myspace friend. This coming Saturday the 17th we'll be in Natick, MA , then Piermont, NY on March 3rd. We head to Italy, Switzerland and Germany on March 14th for a 3 week run!!! We are working on putting together a tour of the Southeastern United States in April.
