something you vaguely felt has always been out there, but never figured you would actually come across until now.
yes, we're shaking you down! In order to keep the non-archive.org site and hosting active, we rely on donations. Those we received got us through 2008, but the coffers are dry right now. We'll give you of our lovely "secret Timetheory releases" if you do!
Time Theory Netlabel was established in January 2008 as a way for label founder Jon 7 to continue the work begun with the Jon7.net Microlabel, established in 2006.
Stylistically Time Theory releases span several genres including ambient, dark ambient, post-rock, glitch, techno, house, musique concrete, noise, power electronics and the generally unclassifiable. The emphasis is on music that 'feels' right, and there's a heavy touch of scientific futurism in the overall aesthetic. To date it is believed that Timetheory is the only netlabel in existence with a hexadecimal catalogue number system that stretches into both positive and negative integers.
We're a friendly lot, some of us are about bonkers, but in general we welcome collaborations and remix 'battles'. Other netlabels who would be interested in interlabel projects should get in contact, and we do accept demos from those who feel their style is compatible.
Give our releases a listen, there's a lot to digest, for sure, but there's no doubt you'll find something you like.
Experimental Meets Formula once again in the latest installment to the Gamma Audio catalogue,B1t Crunch3r s Memory Leaks EP 2 futher explores the boundries of dubstep darker side. The sounds of Killeralien,Phonetic System,Jay Cotton & Dj Micron Coalesce together to diversify the ideas explored in this EP creating an overall sound that can be related to many other musical concepts while staying unique in its own way.
Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.
Buben Vs. Nasta Labada: The Piano Concerto (ARGREC06)
Argali Records is proud to present "The Piano Concerto" by Buben Vs. Nasta Labada, a long-form avant-garde piano composition augmented with slight industrial atmospherics and field recordings. Altogether, they create a volumetric picture surrounding you and taking you away to a different world where your mind opens and senses sharpen.
Interesting music here as usual! Keep it up!

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
