I've grown up with music all my life. There have been countless numbers of groups and people who have influenced me and my music. Many people have described my music as unique and different so let me know if it sounds like anyone or anything you've heard before.

I consider my style to be upbeat acoustic, although others have described it as folk, folk rock, contemporary or mild alternative. In any event I hope that the music blesses you and draws you closer to Jesus.

Since I was a child, music has always been a love of mine. Starting out playing the violin at age 5, I learned not only the beauty of music, but also how powerful it can be. I then began to study and practice hard in hopes that one day I would be able to create my own music to touch and impact the lives of others, ultimately winning them to Christ. Now, almost twenty years later, I am beginning to catch just a small glimpse of that dream I had as a child.
A few years ago, I was asked to lead a ministry called Teens On A Mission founded by Cindy Hartline and Seed of Hope Ministries, to train teenagers to use their spiritual gifts and talents to share the gospel with others. While working through the curriculum for this ministry, God began to give me song ideas and melodies to correspond with the weekly memory verses. I was obedient to the Holy Spirit and watched Him work through the songs.
I began practicing and writing these songs, and I felt that God was burdening my heart to use these to impact the lives of others. As I have grown closer to God, He gave me the passion to bring back the love for scripture and the memorization of scripture passages.
Growing up and working in the church, I have found that the average person knows about four scriptures from memory. Of those four, many are the universal ones that even an unbeliever would know. With that knowledge, I knew that something had to be done. That is when I began to ask God what exactly His purpose and plans were for these songs. Slowly, He began giving me stories and other ideas to go with the songs. I used this to create a program that was not only fun and exciting, but that truly taught the word of God and the plan of salvation. Now with over 100 songs written, and with new ideas everyday, it is time to take my ministry to the next level.
I want my music to be a resource for pastors, youth pastors and worship leaders. If you think you can use these songs in any way, let me know and I'd be happy to provide for you song sheets, overheads, or any other resources you might need.
If you were to ask me a few years ago if I would have ever foreseen myself doing this in the future, I would have said your crazy. However, the more I grow closer to God, the more I am trusting Him and letting Him use me for what He wants me to do. Though I will never be perfect, it is my hope that through the live I live and the things I do, all would see Christ in me and come to know Him personally.
