Minnesota native Tim Fast knew in third grade that he
wanted to be a performer after he and three other
buddies mimicked the words and music to the Beatles'
song "Nowhere Man" for show-and -tell. For 20 years
he put together bands and played shows from the
Midwest to California until he decided to go it alone. A
Folk/Americana singer-songwriter, Fast has performed
on live radio shows, been featured on cable television,
and has been nominated for and received, many
awards for his skillful songwriting. In 2003, he
released his self-titled debut CD and in 2007, his
second CD, Starlite Drive-in. He's currently working on
his third album, to be released sometime this year.

I never thought ten years ago when I started my solo career that I would be doing 200+ shows, driving 60,000+ miles a year, and be releasing my third CD. My life has expanded all across the country with hundreds of new friendships, and now is as rewarding a life that I could ever have imagined. Who knew when Sister Barbara took me from my 4th grade classroom that day and told me I was now in the school choir that I would be doing this for a living! Many people spend an entire lifetime trying to find their purpose, and I am so blessed to have found mine. It is true that we are all connected and always have communicated through music, and the best part of being a singer/songwriter is being touched as well as touching others with the magic of a song!
