Tim & Rob have 2 new cds to be released march. ..Tittled "Twang The Drum" and the other is "Better Days" .. ..With 2 new albums and a new booking agent Tim and Rob will be touring with a bass player across Australia this year.. .. ..“TWANG THE DRUM” .. ..Tim Gaze and Rob Grosser have gone back to their roots of rock. .. ..Not too long after finishing their last album, (The Hoochie Coochie Men’s “Danger White Men Dancing”, featuring Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Ian Gillan (WhiteSnake), Bob Daisley (Ozzy Osbourne), Jimmy Barnes and Jeff Duff), Tim and Rob started to write a new batch of songs, resulting in their latest release, “Twang The Drum”. The guys went back to basic, Tim cranking up his Marshall amp and playing his Les Paul guitar, and Rob getting the most from his various acoustic and electronic drum kits. The end result is a rock album of high energy with some great emotive playing. .. .. “BETTER DAYS” .. ..“Better Days” is the next album progression after the “Blue Sierra” CD release. After that, Rob and Tim had continued writing and recording in a similar mode, but then other recording projects and living took precedence and these ideas were put on hold. These later recordings were mainly complete by 2002. They have now been compiled as the “Better Days” CD. “Blue Sierra” was Rob and Tim’s first musical release and they enjoyed recording this CD because of its varied influences. Along with “Blue Sierra”, the “Better Days” project is an essential link in their musical and recording journey. .. ..Both cds are distributed by ONLY BLUES MUSIC and available through .. JB HI FI Stores .. .. .... FEB 2008.. .. Pete Wells (Rose Tattoo) new cd Bodgie DaDa has been finished and will be released by March. The cd features Pete at his best playing Slide, Bass, Harmonica, Vocals and Saxes. The cd also features his usual cohorts Lucy Desoto (Keys, Backing Vocals) as well as Rob Grosser (Drums, Percussion) Dave Tice features on a track as well “Brothers In Arms” .. ..---------- Tim & Rob were nominated for PRODUCER OF THE YEAR for the “Chain Awards” for River City Blues. The Chain awards are Australia’s Blues Awards. .. ..---------- Tim won a Chain Award for “Best Male Vocalist Of The Year” .. ..---------- Tim has been working with singer Vince Lovegrove (Mongrels Of Passion) releasing an ep “Sorry” through MGM. Rob has played drums on the half of the bands material. The Mongrels Of Passion” will also be playing at The Bryon Music Festival. .. ..Rob has recored and mixed an EP for Famous Blue Raincoat.
