Sounds LikeOriginally from Manchester, now living in Bristol, Tim has written and recorded eight audio books of short stories since 2000. The stories take the listener on a tour of dark places, they can transport you to another place, they will dredge up subconcious fears and probe the corners of the mind. There is fairytale horror, talking animals, ancient evil, lost lovers and lost Gods. There are Sirens, malevolent spirits, unnamed creatures locked in attics, and personal demons loosed from the mind. Brought to life by professional actors such as Mia Jaye and Josh Cass, the stories will draw you in. They will – depending on their creator’s whim - chill you, make you think, or maybe even make you laugh.

   About Tim Jeffreys
I began writing short stories around 1999, drawing on and attempting to combine my fascination with strange tales, horror fiction, mythology, humour, sci-fi, song lyrics, poetry, film, and much more. Having gained some appreciation and interest for these stories, I quickly became frustrated by the near impossible task of getting my work seen by a wider audience. My audio books eventually came about as joint projects, where both my own and the talents of people in a similar position - actors, artists and musicians - could be pooled to create a final product we were confident people would enjoy listening to and owning. Since deciding to sell my audio books on line, through Ebay and my own website, in 2004, I have been surprised and very encouraged by the support and interest I've recieved from buyers. I have now been able to produced a total of 8 CDs, with more in the pipeline, and I have been able to feed funds back into the persuit of writing, and the further recording of more of my stories. I now have a new audio book,'The Secret Season' available. Many thanks to those who have already purchased audio books, and for anyone wanting more - watch this space!
