Sounds Like
Some have said that my voice sounds a little like Ray Boltz. However, I have tried to create my own sound. Due to my classical voice training, my main goal while singing in a contemporary style is to make sure I lose the opera sound... So the goal with my project "Give me words" was to sing from the heart, & to un-learn all of the classical training. To establish a singing style that I would call my own that isn't an imitation or replication of another artist I have been influenced by. So my hope is that I sound like Tim Juillet.
Tim Juillet is a classically trained singer with a background in Opera as a working operatic baritone, majoring in music and vocal performance at Chapman University in Orange County, California. From 1992-1999, his experiences included singing professionally with Opera Pacific, Pacific Chorale, various church music positions and making many solo appearances, mostly in the greater Los Angeles area. Tim still sings classically today and recently made an appearance with the Sun City Chamber Orchestra in December, 2007, singing two of the Bass solos in the Handel Messiah. In 1999, Tim decided to take some time off from music. During his 6 years away, he felt a tremendous void in his life. After returning to singing again in 2005, he rediscovered his passion for music. After singing several times at his home church in early 2006, God opened up a door for Tim to take a songwriting class with Dove award winning songwriter Patrick Andrew, formerly of the band, PFR. Though Tim had never written songs in the past, he found a real passion for songwriting! After taking a 10 week songwriting class, he was given the opportunity to record a full solo project with Patrick Andrew as Producer. Tim & Patrick decided to meet in late October 2006 to go through potential songs. Though Tim had 7 or 8 songs he had written, Patrick thought only 1 of them, Better Days, was record worthy. Because recording was set to begin in January 2007, Tim now had the daunting task of writing a minimum of 9 more songs in 2 months!!! As he began to focus on this huge challenge, his prayer was for God to give him the words to say that would change hearts. Tim met with Patrick several times over the following 2 months and continued to work on his songs. With help from a couple of lyricists Tim met, he wound up writing a total of 13 additional songs that Patrick agreed to produce, including a 9 minute composition called Unimagined Glory/A Journey Through Heaven. Tim began recording in early January 2007 as scheduled and God began to renew him. In the 9 months Tim recorded his project, he lost 100 pounds. God had renewed his hope and joy. Tim is excited to have the awesome opportunity to share his ministry. God is awesome!!! Originally from Huntington Beach, California, Tim now lives in Surprise, AZ with his beautiful wife, Nichole, and two children, Victoria & Elizabeth. We've heard the Enrons of the world file for bankruptcy. Massachussets based Malden Mills did the same -- but for entirely different reasons. In 1995, when the Malden Mills caught fire, the CEO and owner of the family run business decided to continue to pay his thousands of idled workers for a full six months! It was a decision that ended up bankrupting the three generation old company, but Aaron Feuerstein, the CEO and owner, says: "Maybe on paper our company is worthless to Wall Street, but I can tell you it's worth more." Watch this inspiring video as Aaron shares his rationale for making the ethical choice.

The Hump Day Video... my friend Steven shared this with me. (ty Steven)
"RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" On the first Sunday following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Carter Conlin delivered this soul-stirring message at Times Square Church in Manhattan. The sermon was titled, "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"... It is one of the most powerful video sermons ever produced during the time of the greatest tragedy to ever befall this nation and it is Steven's hope, and after him sharing it with me, now mine, that this sermon opens the eyes, minds and hearts of all friends and family.
Hi Tim, Thank you for friendship. Listening to "Just Saying Thankyou"... God bless. Sharing: 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 (NASB): "If ... My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Also sharing:
it is a blessing to hear godly music. I was highly edified by the 'stay amazed' song. The Lord has been strengthening my weary heart by leading me to gaze upon Him through His word and to behold His beauty. He has been granting me to taste that He is good and I am amazed at His glory and grace. Your song has encouraged me.
LIFE IS GROWTH & CHANGE... a fact we often forget... For in our deep quest to feel settled at last into a comfortable phase of life, the changes, small and large, that inevitably occur in our lives, are often surprising, difficult, and hard to process... Yet, as we move through each chapter of our own,, unique, thousand-chapter-long life story, it helps to remember that each change brings new learning, each phase we enter leads us to the next, and the most challenging times are often followed by personal and spiritual growth of the deepest kind possible...
