About me: Timothy Michael Kaine born in St. Paul, Minnesota is an American politician and the current Governor of Virginia. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He is married to former Richmond Juvenile Court Judge Anne Holton, the daughter of A. Linwood Holton Jr., a former Virginia Governor. Kaine and Holton have three children. Following Thomas Jefferson's son-in-law Thomas Mann Randolph Jr., Kaine is the second son-in-law of a Virginia Governor to become governor in his own right. He is currently one of the most popular governors in the nation with a 69% approval rating.
Dear Tim, mate this is the only favour I'll ever ask of you. Can you please post this comment. My very best to your colleagues and family. -Bob :)
Bob Moore's letter to HuJin Tao Chinese president 5th December 2009: Sir, sorry its been a while since I've commented. There is a sudden urgency to the leading role of Asia in taking action on climate change. In Australia this week the strong arm of the uneducated has taken over the Australian Liberal Party, and it now seems that no english speaking country will be taking the lead on climate change action. In the west we are taught to be critical of our leaders and so we are even critical of our scientists. In this case, since the scientists are united that climate change is real, our tendency to be critical of our scientists is harming our future, and so is harming our own children and grandchildren. In Asia you do not suffer from this problem of criticising elders. As such, great hopes for the world rest in China and in India. Could you please redouble your efforts to convince your party of the benefits of green industry, and speak to them about the possibility of leading the world at Copenhagen. The alternatives to coal, would begin with nuclear, wind, solar, and wave eneregy and would build towards other as yet undiscovered technologies to accelerate the efficiency of these forms of power. I hear China has the first meltdown-proof nuclear reactor, this clearly displays your country's leadership in modern technology, and its plan for the safe future. Humbly your servant, -Bob
Well it's about time for you to free the Norfolk Four. Why did it take so long? Was it because John Grisham is writing a screen play for a possible Norfolk Four movie and you didn't want to be cast in a bad light therefore possibly hurting your chances later for a possible Presidential run???? Tell us Tim, we would love to know what you have to say about it.
It is funny the timing that you finally decided to free these men. You only decide to do it when one of the best writers of our time decides to write a screenplay for a movie about the Norfolk Four. I guess you were afraid of how you and your administration might be perceived if John Grisham decides to include in the film your part in this travesty of justice. But even still you are a fence sitter. Instead of doing the right thing you again fail to give these innocent men a FULL pardon. Do the right thing for once and give these men a full pardon. I think what your problem is Tim is that you want to appease all sides and you really are afraid to take a stand because you must feel it might cost you some votes later on down the line. Do we really need a politician like you that is afraid of doing the right thing? I don't think so.
Oh, BTW. You still haven't done anything to the corrupt State Medical Board in Virginia.....
One of Gov. Kaine's initiatives was to do something about the high infant mortality rate here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. What the Governor did was earmark money for this cause and basically what the outcome so far has been that the blame for infant mortality in our state falls on women who do not have good prenatal care because they are either poor or black etc. No where does anyone dare comment that there is another reason that accounts for another percentage of infants dying each year and that is because of medical negligence and malpractice on behalf of doctors treating women and their babies. This is the ugly part of the infant mortality issue in our state that no one so far wants to deal with.
You need to read about what happened to my family and our baby Alex. Follow this URL to see a front page article that appeared in last Sunday's Virginia Pilot newspaper:
We tried to get a meeting with Governor Kaine and so far he has refused to meet with us. My wife and I know personally what its like to lose a child because of medical negligence and a State Medical Board that basically does nothing to the doctors that caused this nightmare. In our state the State Medical Boards does only one thing and that is to serve itself and the doctors. It's way past time for someone to clean house at the State Medical Board and ultimately this duty falls on the shoulder of the Governor. So far Governor Kaine has done nothing to correct this problem.
