About me: This is the "OFFICIAL TIM LOVELACE MYSPACE PAGE". Whatever the heck that means, Who you say? You know...that dude from the cult horror film "Mosquito", Bruce Campbell & Mike Kallio's "Hatred of a Minute" and several other B-movies you may have seen if you patrol that dark corner of the video store. I know, my page is very plain. No fancy skull wallpaper or evil cursers. I'm just a plain guy. Besides, the page loads faster without all the crap. Well, this is the "About Me" section so here goes it, my advice is hit the back button NOW...I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan watching Horror movies and Westerns. Strange combo, I know. Now I really live in the middle of nowhere, and wouldn't have it any other way. My traffic jams are slow moving elk.
I have a great wife (who should've gone to Nashville, she's the best country singer you've never heard) and three wonderful kids that are the most important part of my life.
As a kid I watched Sir Graves Ghastly and The Ghoul nearly every time they were on (it's a Michigan thing, check out their page on my friends list) and dreamed of being a cowboy and a B-movie actor. I walked out of Eastern Michigan University the day after the Marine barracks were bombed in Beruit and joined the Marine Corps Reserve. I also hit the rodeo circuit until my body couldn't take it anymore. I had been working as an actor doing commercials and stage when I got cast as a werewolf for a commercial. The FX guy was Gary Jones who just happened to be raising money for his independent horror movie called "Mosquito". Being a huge fan of the 50's genre giant critter movies, I about crapped when he invited me to audition for one of the leads. The rest they say is history. I recently shot a cameo scene for the upcomming horror movie "DOG" and I'm shooting a new horror film with Writer/Director Gary Jones (MOSQUITO, SPIDERS, XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS). Thanks for reading this, send me a message, I'll respond. Check out www.koreatownthemovie.com for my latest flick or go to your local video store and rent one of my films, pop some popcorn and be prepared to see some questionable use of celluloid.
Meanwhile, I'll be doing something fun like camping in a Fleetwood Wilderness. You should buy one, they're awesome. Maybe you'll see me in one of Michigan's State Parks sitting by the fire having a beer. Stop over, pull up a chair and have a cold one. Life is good. God bless our troops. Semper Fi all you Jarheads!
Stand behind me and I will protect her for you. Stand beside me and I will protect her with you. Stand in front of me and I will protect her from you.
