Biography
TIM IS CURRENTLY WRITING SONGS FOR NO PREDETERMINED PURPOSE AND THINKING TOO MUCH ABOUT THINGS WHICH HAVE ADDLED MUCH BIGGER BRAINS THAN HIS. HOWEVER, HE INTENDS TO HONOUR HIS PROMISE TO RECORD SOME OF HIS NEW MATERIAL, BUT IS KEEN TO DECIDE WHAT HE WANTS TO DO WITH IT FIRST, SINCE THIS WILL LARGELY DETERMINE HOW AND WHERE IT IS RECORDED. THIS IS PROVING A STUMBLING BLOCK CURRENTLY.....
IN THE MEANTIME, HE CAN'T RECOMMEND LAURA MARLING'S ALBUM, "ALAS, I CANNOT SWIM" HIGHLY ENOUGH.....
Thanks for a beautiful acoustic set on Saturday's Melting Pot. Your voice was in fine form.
I think it was perfect how all the acts worked in between the rugby - so you and everyone there could see the final, and enjoy the live sets too - plus, you were brilliantly sympathetic to people's enthusaiasm for the game.
Shame your band made the decision not to play, but you did a great set yourself in their absence.
