About me:
HELLO FROM TIM MILLER! I am a queer solo theater performer who travels all over the US performing at universities, theaters and museums. Click on link above and see me performing a section from my show MY QUEER BODY! I think the sweaty reality of live performance art is a great place to shine my creative highbeams on the tasty pleasures and nasty injustices that queer folk face in America. I get to gather with people all over the country at my shows to raise awareness, encourage activism, stir the dating pool and test-drive strategies for lesbian and gay equality. I’m also very excited about my new book that’s just come out. It’s called 1001 BEDS and is a collection of my essays and performances that’s been published by Univ of Wisconsin Press. Tons of fotos. Check out my website where you can also find lots of links to articles about my work, ways to get my videos and books, info on all my dramas with the National Endowment for the Arts, the case I took to the U.S. Supreme Court and the immigration struggles my Aussie-UK partner Alistair McCartney and I are going through. http://hometown.aol.com/millertale/
T- oh no...I'm becoming one of those people who communicates through myspace comments, I guess it could be worse. So...this week not so good for me, unless you want to go to the mix la queer picnic on saturday (Ian's performing). Third weeks a charm. Today the air conditioner is broken. I'm working the circulation desk and literal beads of sweat dripped down my forehead. This prompted me to adhere kleenex to my face while helping patrons (you have to do something to amuse yourself in these situations). I managed four tissue before my I was asked to stop. The image was pretty good though. xxo. your G
“An enraged Allen Ray Andrade beat 21-year-old Angie Zapata with his fists and a fire extinguisher after he discovered Zapata, who gave him oral sex the day before, was physically a man...” http://current. com/items/89169307_date_arrested_in_greeley_transgender_murder
PLEASE send this story to everyone you know and ask them to register, comment and vote it up. Nobody on national news has covered it but if it gets enough comments and votes Current will put it on air. This beating took place miles from the spot where Matthew Shepard was kidnapped before his murder in 2001. MTV took his story and made it a massive national public debate. The national media isn’t touching this story and it’s up to us to use the internet to make sure that Angie’s beauty isn’t extinguished by her bigoted murderer.
when are you back love? I'm all demanding a playdate....well alright, I'm not good at demanding...let's just say I'm strongly suggesting a playdate. xx, your bad ass faggot with a troubled past but a heart of gold
are we actually getting together this summer? I'd like that. I've been reading your boy's book again..talented couple you two are. Alright, I'm on my 7th cup of coffee...some things don't change. xo, your bad ass faggot
Hey there Tim, yeah thanks. I'm every happy with the work. And yes it's just awesome for you guys up there in the equality breakthough...congrats!! xoxo
I found a stack of writings from my bus adventures...moments from years ago I had totally forgotten about. There's too many to email you, I'll just drop the lot of them on your lap sometime this summer after the beach and let you enjoy. They made me happy. How are you doing? xo -greggycrisco, homosexual sex kitten.
Thanks for the add. CSUSM is right across the freeway from Palomar where I am teaching for the summer, practically in my boyfriend's back yard. Starting in the fall, I will be teaching and coaching at Mount San Antonio College, which is about an hour and a half north of CSUSM, but I will be around often, I'm sure. Is thaere anything I can help you with?

Thanks a bunch for posting the clip. Great stuff. I am jealous as hell that you get Steven Reigns in your town. He is very much missed by me and the entire community. Wonderful to connect with you, Tim George.
Right back at you. I've been a fan ever since "the controversy." And that video is kinda hot. Nice little treat for waking up alone in a hotel room to.
So I thought I'd send you one in return of my own performance art.
Great seeing you yesterday Tim. This morning a little girl sitting next to me on the bus started trying to (and of course succeeding) poke her fingers through the holes in my ears. I laughed and decided it was ok and a perfectly normal thing for a curious 4 year old to do. I was less ok when the grown mother started poking at my neck through my ear after her daughter. I told her to buy me a beer first....she didn't laugh. neither did I. Hopefully see you friday. x.x.
Thanks so for befriending us. Hope your Earth Day was most earthy. And a big old blessed be to you for always fighting the good fight and tweaking just the right nipple on the sacred cow. Hooves high, Felix Rumpus (and ian sends love to you and Alistair)
Wow, I never thought you'd talk to me! lol :D I'm definitely going to do some sort of live performance, after watching a few clips of you. My prof. actually told me I should take a look at you. Her names is Angela Ellsworth. Don't know if it rings any bells? Anyway, I gotta go write some papers for my classes. I hope I get to see one of your performances one of these days.
Oh, and by the way, just incase you didn't know.. Madonna's album drops April 29th. You better get it. ;P
Hi Tim. How are you doing? I hope you are well.Thank you very much for your message on my board. I saw your flyers in Cleveland. I am looking forward to see your performance. Thanks. Have many great moments. Enjoy.
Hi Tim. Hope you're well. Great video. I just ordered the book -- looking forward to reading it. Will catch up in a proper email soon. Take care! Rob xx
Wishes for a splendid Sunday, dear Tim. Sorry I have to miss your show this weekend. I hope it's going fabulously. xo Kenneth
CHOICE soul, in whom, as in a glass, we see, Mirrored in thy pure form and delicate, What beauties heaven and nature can create, The paragon of all their works to be! Fair soul, in whom love, pity, piety, Have found a home, as from thy outward state We clearly read, and are so rare and great That they adorn none other like to thee! Love takes me captive; beauty binds my soul; Pity and mercy with their gentle eyes Wake in my heart a hope that cannot cheat. What law, what destiny, what fell control, What cruelty, or late or soon, denies That death should spare perfection so complete?
