It's hard to pinpoint any individual bands, but you may notice bits of pop, jazz, blues, folk and even dance/electronica; all filtered through a fine sieve of 'I don't understand what I'm doing at all'.
Sounds Like
People say the strangest things, here are some of them: "cat inspired lo-fi genius", "Post-modern euro-folk"; One song has been compared to the sound track to 'The Wicker Man'. (The good one, with Edward Woodwoodoododod), and one to 'something from Bugsy Malone'.
Other, more sensible suggestions include: Beck, the Boo Radleys, Belle and Sebastian, Regina Spektor, Kristin Hersh/Throwing Muses, The Concretes, Feist, Hugo Largo, Holly Golightly, Stereolab, or 'a female Steve Malkmus'.
Timmy Lives In My House is Wendy and Dave plus two guitars and a keyboard. Timmy is their cat, or Wendy's cat since he is fairly indifferent to Dave. There is an amount of jealousy and resentment between them.
Timmy does not play in the band. His keyboard skills are limited and his attention span short.

It's hard to say; you took SOME of the sting out of it - enough to prevent suicidal impulses from overwhelming common-sense, at least. It was a fucking ordeal though, was it not? Had you not given us the "Harry Lime Theme" it's doubtful that we'd have been able to make it through the night. A spoonful of Anton Karras helps the medicine go down, it seems. Thanks for your help - you can do it once a day, I believe...
As a friend of CrackTown - or, if you're visiting this profile, a friend of a friend of CrackTown - why not help us to stuff a pillow over Indie's comatose, ague-ridden face once and for all? Vote for us on: www. xfmuploaded. co. uk/cracktown AND: www. meermusic. com - then trawl through the sorry detritus clinging pitifully at your coat-tails until you find us. If nothing else, doing this will afford you the opportunity to say things you'd never dare say to our godlike faces... Thanks for your time, and keep it gangsta. PS: Will you ever surmount your apparent blind spot to your feline associates sociopathy and touch lyrically on the subject that he's a deeply troubled individual with little or no apparent capacity for emotion (even by cat standards)?
Last month at Off The Road at the Adelphi I performed a set about what it means to be English. This month I’m going to address the same issue from a different stance – I will be discussing minority groups and the future of our culture. What could possibly go wrong? Expect anger and violence at The Adelphi this Thursday.
PLUS – the people behind The Wickerman soundtrack are playing. PLUS – one of Hull’s most talked about acts, Stickpin PLUS – loads more (including the mighty Cracktown).
AND IT IS ONLY £3!!!!
Best Thursday ever? You’ll have to be there to find out, SAM
