Influences
There are just too many to list and I'm not sure where to start. For starters, I must credit my older brother Ron for setting the example when I was much younger. He gave me my first guitar - a Fender Newporter acoustic. What a great starter guitar. I'm a big fan of the mainstream virtuosos like EJ, Satch, Vai, etc. I was also strongly influenced (or at least enjoyed his earlier work in UK) by Alan Holdsworth. These guys really know how to play with style and substance. If there's one thing I've learned is that it's not the number of notes you play per second - it's the emotion that is conveyed during that second that counts - it doesn't matter if it's one or one hundred notes. That said, I've always strived to increase speed and clarity, but my playing has led me down another path - melody, phrasing, and voicings.
Oh and one more influence: GOD --- Dude, your tough, but you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds Like
Who knows? I'm not very objective. And, I'm not sure if my sound has a style or if I sound like somebody else - sometimes I think so, other times not. The question is better suited to the listener. I've had my share of influences, probably too many to list. Nearly anyone who has picked up the guitar and invested blood, sweat, and tears is a major influence. I'll leave this question up to you.

This latest song is called "INTO THE LIGHT" and reflects our human and Christian lifes - life driven by self. life suffering in darkness, and life emerged with renewed HOPE.
