From my midtown Manhattan apartment I hear the crows outside my window. They remind me of Rock n Roll. Part of a reason why they call out into the city air; a method to their madness. Like the crows, we are also calling out but with a different kind of song, struggling to be heard. The thinking behind the Rock n Roll Legend tag is simple. Tim's performances and songs are about keeping the spirit, fun and rebelliousness of Rock alive. Just ask any fan in the neighborhood. Talk about perseverance, Tim has been rocking with bands and solo shots since the early eighties. Turning sixty this past January has only ...... Bio:

From my midtown Manhattan apartment I hear the crows from outside my window. Somehow they remind me of Rock n Roll. There's a reason behind their calling out into the city air. I like to think a method to their madness. Is it not all madness? Here on MySpace we are all calling out about something; wanting to be heard among the constant roar that surrounds us. Look how powerful music can be. Look at this community of millions of us because of the music. I'm here to let my music out. I want it to find some air to breathe outside the confines of my apartment once it has been created. To call out into the cracks and crevices of other people's lives so that they are able to hear the crows outside from their windows. Tim Young Band is a duo: guitar and drums. The drummer is Sand Edwards. He is a native New Yorker and I am a transplant from Easton, PA. Currently we perform once a month at this Vintage Bar which is just down the street from where I live. It's a cool non dive kind of joint. They have a Martini menu and all the bartenders know how to take care of business. Sand and i have been playing together for two years and are awaiting the release of the new CD which is 'The Cost.' People come to see this band because of the energy and the melody. Those two ingredients in addition to saying something within the song make up my definition of Rock n Roll. I strive to stay true to those meanings. podsafe music network Please take a moment to listen to some of this music. .. ..
