Yorkshireman of Irish desent, spent many years on the Manchester scene, played with Andrew Dinan, recorded with the wonderfull Michael McGoldrick (face in the crowd) , John Jo Kelly, Paul Daly (Toss the feathers)(crooked jack) Colin Farell (Grada)(smashed up against the wall)Daniel Gourdon on Manchester street, and recorded some guitar with Arty McGlynn on a Sean Keane song, Played in New York, St Lois and all over Europe, Done sessions for BBC Sctland and Manchester. done French TV broadcasts, Supported Richard Thompson and Martin Stephenson. Played at many festivals including, Gosport, Whitby musicport, Highland, Celtic Connections, Tullins in France, York etc.

This years festival is headlined by Billy Bragg (Friday), Seth Lakeman (Sunday) and Peatbog Faeries (Saturday) with many more top artists also performing incl the award winning The Demon Barbers.
