Sasha & Digweed dropping the afore mentioned "duff proggy rub from Onionz" @ Exit Festival!
::::: BIOGRAPHY :::::
In a world when DJs and producers are ten-a-penny and the hype machines peddle mediocrity as if it were something special, it can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. As such, the currency de jour is consistency & recommendations.
From London to Lisbon, Sheffield to Sao Paulo, Manchester to Miami and more global hot-spots than you could shake a rhythm stick at, Timo Garcia is consistently rocking dance floors and sound systems alike.
His consistency in the studio has culminated in ‘Wonderlust Bug’; his acclaimed debut artist album with some of the world’s biggest names queuing up to recommend it…
“The Hang Drum track is amazing - as is Release, Wonderlust and Lady Luck and the mixed album flows wonderfully too, keep it up mate” [Sasha]. “Great work…Great for big room business.” [Laurent Garnier]. “Great album...v trippy and great variety!” [Timo Maas]. “Solid collection of tracks. Well done!” [M.A.N.D.Y.]
But talk is cheap, action stands out, and Timo comes up trumps again! January 2010 will see the release of a double CD, littered with remixes from his album tracks by production heavyweights that include DJ Pierre, Onionz, Eric Kupper and James Harcourt. It is a testament to Timo’s calibre that such big names are ready to remix his work and is a pleasant shift from him doing the remixing – his deft touch can be heard on remixes of such luminaries as Justice, DJ Pierre, Louis Vega, Danny Howells and Ian Brown and he is constantly on the lookout for ways to add his inimitable sound to wide-ranging projects.
His razor sharp productions and great experience have seen him become as in-demand an engineer as remixer and producer. This demand is not confined to mere mortals like you and I, nor is it restricted to his own successful label, Berwick Street Records. His infamy has spread among the label bosses who set the trends and create the future-heroes of our worlds. Yoshitoshi, Nervous NYC and Toolroom Records are but three of the world-famous imprints who have clamoured to get a piece of Timo’s brilliance.
He sees his Berwick Street tag as a means to champion other talent too and has proved this recently with the signing and backing of Smokin’ Jo’s Trnsstr project, as well as support for Sasse, Yousef, Kenny Hawkes and other established and new artists.
It seems incredible that he still has time to DJ around the world and hold down his residency at the globally revered Ministry of Sound club, but this is a man who has both a dedication and a love for his craft and this is something that he exudes, whether behind the decks or in the studio.
He is also not shy of getting support from the best in the business and Timo’s move to MFM BOOKING demonstrates his commitment to DJing; sharing roster space with the likes of Tocadisco, Dusty Kid, Zoo Brazil, D-Nox & Beckers.
Whether you like your music to be played in the comfort of your own home, in grimy underground sweat-holes, or in extravagant and celebrious locales, the sublime and sensual sounds of Timo Garcia are guaranteed to deliver.

Hot album dude! Flows really well with a good mixture of deepness and energy. Minimal, Tech House, and House! Very cutting edge. Just the way I like it!
Joey Beltram
Really good artist album. The Mix format adds an excellent touch. Favourite tracks for me are 'Lady Luck' and 'Swing Thing'. Great album with great flow.

Hector Romero
Hi Timo – Thanks for sending me your album – congrats on putting together a tight project together – sounds like you put a lot of time into it. The tracks didn’t have ID’s so it’s hard for me to tell you which one I liked best. Looking forward to receiving the project as individual tracks. Best of luck.
Giles Smith (secretsundaze)
I think its a solid album of dance trax
Osunlade
Delicious and refreshing! I love the overall feeling of the album, its spacious, deep intimate..deep and techy (magic roundabout sounds a bit dark sonically compared to the rest of the album)
favourite track: 'The Bug', i love its bouncy effect.. keep the head moving!
Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West)
Some great stuff on your album mate. 'The Morning After' is beautiful.
Trisco / Wonderland Avenue
Great album mate...washes over you effortlessly.....'Boom' is probably my fave, lovely deep spacey groove, will work on any floor .... right up there with the final track which is beautiful - top vocal.
Overall I'd give the album 9/10....should get this into all the loungy bars. Well done!
Jon Marsh (Beloved)
I like 'The Hang Drum Track' but my favourite is 'Magic Roundabout' - cool, squelchy, hypnotic, floaty etc etc - very me! I hope it does well for you & thanks for asking for my opinion.
Mike Monday
It sounds good - you've really nailed your sound which is great, and in the process of doing it you've obviously come a long way! I like the way you've put it together and you've obviously done it with a lot of care and skill. nice work!
Llorca
It's definitely a good electronic album - truth is, i'm not a fan of electronic albums in general. I find it difficult to stick to one hour of 4 to the floor beats, as a listener and as a composer, giving you the impression at the end you've been listening to one long static track. Fortunately, every track has its own atmosphere here, bringing
the long-play some ups, downs and different mood. My favourite one is the bug. Simply because it's the most funky track of the whole album :-) Anyway, good luck with your album, mate. releasing an electronic album today is quite a thing, cheers ludO;
Neil Quigley (Urban....Torque Recordings)
Overall it's a very accomplished album, so many congratulations! My favourite track is the penultimate one, 'Release'. Just a great club track with memorable riffs and chord changes. I'm thinking the last track is 'Solaris' inspired? Regardless, a nice ending to the album.
Jim 'Shaft' Ryan
Very cool album, Had it on all afternoon mate.
Favourite Songs are 'The Hang Drum Track' & 'The Morning After'
Love the unique sound of Hang Drum. The Morning After a perfect way to finish a very interesting album.
Igor Marijuan (ibizasonica)
I have to tell you that is fantastic. I'm really into your style. I love "Deadly Grooves" and "Wonderlust" I have been playing those tracks in my gigs and the reaction was fantastic. I..m supporting your album on Ibiza Sonica radio too. All the best from Ibiza.
DJ Rebekah
I really like the variety of different tracks, there will be something for everyone on it, and i really like 'The Morning After' for listening.
Solomun (Diynamic)
'Lady Luck' is nice, beautiful atmo, and 'Swing Thing' .:)
but my fav is 'The Morning After'. all the best, Mladen
Static Revenger
This is great! Timo manages to create one solid listening experience woven through a tapestry of different genres that one might not necessarily expect from one collection of music. Personal highlight for me is ‘Swing Thing’- Its so Daft and Cheeky- I LOVE IT! - Jazz, big band and swing are among my favourite styles of music, as is electronic, and this is a neat example of flipping the two genres- usually a producer goes for a jazz sample, and builds electronically around that, and Swing Thing builds Jazz from electronic in the inverse- more along the lines of the seminal electronic classical recordings by Tomita and Walter Carlos. NICE... thanks for the heads up on this and much luck with it.
DeMarkus Lewis
Very nice album!!! Quite the solid journey.. Reminds me of how a proper dj mix should sound the way it travels and the mood changes ever so slightly until it climaxes. Or even more like good sex ;) ‘Swing Thing’ is my fav here!! Because i'd like to remix it :P
Tyrrell
Right from the off, I liked what I was hearing - very listenable and with several tracks I'd like for my own DJ sets. Favourite song is 'The Hang Drum Track'. Reason - It's a bit proggy, not dark, will work in so many clubs/situations, and it's got a hang drum - so freaking jealous you hooked up with Manu - I thought I had an original idea for a hang drum track when I saw someone playing one in Portobello last summer but nope, Timo got there first. Kudos!
Lawrence Millar (Deeper Substance)
It sounds great Timo – deepness and a lot of vibe and energy. It feels like an album. Excellent stuff. ‘Lady Luck’ for me.
Adrian Kemp (Ninja Tune)
'The Bug' This is a killer tune man!
Gavyn Mytchel (The Gallery @ Ministry of Sound)
Its a very good mix, from start to finsh. this should do well
Harri (Sub Club)
Solid album mate, really nice production and flow, I don't have a track listing and only instantly recognize the Hang Drum track which I always liked. Few more on there I really like....but dont know the names. Many thanks for sending :-)
Paulette (Radio FG Paris)
Whilst there’s nothing I can play at club, it is a really good, polished, well produced and infinitely listenable album. There are some lovely ideas on there – like the Charleston drop especially and the vocals are very sweet. I am putting it in my ipod and will be able to give you a more detailed reaction over the next few days. Big up ya badself! Respect
Sultan
Been listening to your album all day. The more i listen to it the more i love it.
Sick Solid album my man and flows real nice with a killer ending, By far my favorite track is "The Morning After"
But got to admit "Deadly Grooves" is ace!
Cheers! And best of luck bro, great job hands down.
Montero (Dee)

It was really refreshing actually. Some really cool vibes ... one track i loved, it had some jazzy swing shit going on but really drummy.
Satoshi Fumi
Nice trax mate! I love trax called ‘The Bug’ and ‘Release’. They has deep grooves.
Glenn Morrison
I think your artist album is very cool :) Thanks a lot for sending and great work man. Keep up the great work and speak soon.
Tom Taylor (Electric Press)

Sonny Wharton

Kenny Substance (PureSubstance /Pure.FM) KL, Malaysia
This totally deserves a 5 out of 5 star on the accomplished album. Great flow from start to end. You dont get bored it which is the most important. Am really looking forward to each tracks on this album. Fav tracks includes Boom, The Hang Drum, Release !!!
DJ Chloé
I love 'The Hang Drum Track' and 'Lady Luck' what deep beauties! I really love how the album builds, grows in intensity and in sounds. very good flow & i love how the melodies and synths work together slightly. 'Lady Luck' is very subdued and not in your face. very pretty twinkly sounds and just a beautiful track. The whole album is great tho.
Mike Stukes Mystic Vybes WHCR 90.3 FM
May well be considered one of the 10 best lp's of the year.
Dave Jenkins (Editor IDJ Magazine)
It’s really strong, tells a good tale and doesn’t ever dwindle.
Dumb Dan
I'm usually not a fan of dance albums. The whole idea of listening to dance music in a home environment, unmixed and without a single girl in skimpy outfits in sight is... well just not for me. Not to mention the temptation many producers see in bringing in guest singers for every track, trying to be something they are not and quickly losing sight of the dance floor that made it all possible in the first place.
Timo's album is a different story altogether - it's a journey through soundscapes that all are interesting enough to keep you listening, while that dance floor vibe still is intact. I could see myself play most of these on a club night, particularly 'The Bug' which is just as much of a stormer as Timo's by now quite famous Hang Drum Track. Wonderlust Bug is a great exception to the rule - a dance album you can actually dance to - as well as enjoy in your car, lounge or whenever!
