Sounds LikeThe high energy Blues of Johnny Winter, and Buddy Guy, with a dash of the wacky side of Danny Gatton. My acoustic shows are reminiscent John Hammond, or the acoustic guitar playing of Johnny Winter, or Rory Gallagher. When working with harmonicist, Dover Cooper, we're often compared to Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee.

Here is a photo of Tim on my chopper, it looked like a 750 Honda but had a big bore kit 850 cc, plus 11 to 1 compression pistons, HP cam, heat treatd and lightened crank, high performance rocker arms, special springs, 2 into 1 scavenger exhaust and ported & polished intake and tons more stuff. it would simply EAT 900 Kawasaki's lunch and breakfast too.
Tim looked good on it uh?
LOVE YOU & MISS YOU BRO

My Brother Tim
When he was just 3 years old my mom took him next door to visit a neighbor lady. A few minutes later they heard someone pecking out tunes on a little toy piano, it was little Timmy. We knew then that Tim was musicaly gifted. For Christmas when he was just 5 years old my parents got him his first real guitar. Tim played and played and played, Dad showed him some notes and chords and Tim practiced and played until his fingers bleed and then he played some more, hell I think he slept with the thing. Then one day we realized hey this kid is pretty good. Next thing Dad started taking him to some of his shows and introduced him to his friends and band members and Tim loved the night life. Though I think my Mom wanted him to play for her church that didn't seem to work. At an early age Tim got into blues and he never looked back. Tim & mine's Mother died in 1995 and our Father died in 1999, Tim's wife died in 2004 that made me and his brother Terry Lamb his next of kin.  I never thought in a million years about getting a phone call 7 AM that Tim had passed away, and that I would be making an emergency trip to Michigan to pay for his funeral and cremation, but I did.
I love you Brother and I miss you EVER SINGLE DAY, I think about you every day. And I am left with the question WHY? Why you? Why not me? You were only 48 years old, hell I'm 60 Why not me? I am left with a hole in my heart that will never be filled. I truely am living the blues now.
I love you Brother, I always have and I always will.
Your Brother Tony Lamb

Timothy Jon Lamb, you have no idea how much I miss talking to you. You were such a kind soul who listened with no judgement but always with good advice. This town is surely missing your talents. I hope you are jamming with the greats: SRV, Jimi, Terry Kath ( a fellow Tele slayer).

Benefit for my Dad on September 27, 2009
Hi Everyone,
My Father Peter Aguayo passed away on Tuesday 9-8-2009.
He was a Steelworker for 30 years. The company he worked for went Bankrupt and they took his Life Insurance and Medical as well.
I am trying to raise enough money to give him a proper burial.
Please find it in your heart to come out to the Benefit, he so deserves it.
There will be 5-6 AWESOME bands.
The bands that are already booked for the show are: The Midnight Rendezvous, StellarDrive & Bazooka Jones.
Special Guests: Charlie Allen Martin (Bob Seger) & Psychild - Robert Noll, Tyuawn Brown (A Michael Jackson Impersonator) and Bruce Race (Charlie Chaplin Impersonator).
Location is:
Scott Lake Banquet Center (Located inside the Waterford Elks)
2100 Scott Lake Road.
Waterford, MI 48328
Admission is $20.00
Benefit will start at 2pm and will end at 10pm, or later.
50/50 Raffle
Door Prizes
Cash Bar & Food
Auction Items
The Benefit will also be filmed by Comcast for my friend Big L's The Music Room TV Show.
This will be a great time and it's for a great cause.
I am also trying to raise awareness to the retiree's that they should not assume that they are taken care of, this is happening to people every day. It has been devestating due to the company's Bankruptcy, my Father hasn't been buried yet.
Hope to see you there.
More info to follow as it becomes available.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Help us Honor our Dad, he was a son, a husband and a wonderful Human Being.
God Bless
Jer & Angel

This is Alan Paul from Guitar world. I met Tim through the GW message boards years ago. He was an active and very helpful member of the community, as he was up here.

Eventually, we hooked up at the Otisville Hotel and I jammed with him and the Buick City Blues Band many times. They are truly some of my finest musical memories. And the confidence I gained from performing tim and his group really pushed me and helped me reach a new level with my music.

I am tremendously saddened on every level about this loss. Tim was a great guy and a fantastic guitarist. I can't say enough about the warmth and kindness and true soul he radiated on stage.

I miss him terribly and feel truly like the world is a smaller place without him. I will be in touch with Argentucky and want to help his family any way I can.

RIP, Trag.

What a night... I'm sure Tim had front-row seats in Heaven and was so jazzed about how many stellar Blues players came out to show respect for him and his music. I think Tim was a humble man that may have never realized the impact he had on people and the music world. He packed the Roadhouse with family, friends and musicians that were all there to celebrate Tims life. Larry McCray & Band, Dave Gerow, Greg Stamm, Lester Hambone, Heather & Don Jones, Big Al & Gary Ellis from Broken Arrow, Eddie Barney, John King from Argentucky Blues, Danny McCree, Kenny, Barry Forester, Bill Harlow, Mike Huber, Serbrina, Gary Stillwagon, Doctor Guitar, Kerry Clark, Fido, and many more all worked the stage to make it a night to remember! Be it short, Tims life was well-lived and touched so many. He has left a footprint on all our hearts. There is a plan in the works to have another benefit at Greg Stamms where Tim jammed with so many musicians for so long. And there is a benefit set at the Eagles Club in Davison on August 16th at 2pm.
BLUES people sure to take care of one another!!! Yea Baby!
Jones'N will pick up the open mic at The Roadhouse every Tuesday night.

Has anyone secured a bank account that would hold contributions for Tim's kids? I'm concerned...it needs to be tracked. We would like to be of help with this but are a bit confused in whom is actually organizing these benefits and what is needed at this time. I do know that we all want to 'get it right' for Tim. I did not know Tim personally, but he did often contact me via MySpace and we talked about gear. He was a big fan of my JD10 pedal.

I just want to wish his kids the very best of luck... such difficult circumstances with the previous loss of their Mother too. But if I know true family bonds, then the kids will be taken good care of, whatever their age.

I am so sorry that I will not hear from him again. It is soooo sad.

My very best wishes to all the family.

Timmy, my brother this just isn't fair, I have been a screwed up mess for 2 days now and it still doesn't seem real. We have known each other since high skool and we had kick ass blues group that people were freaking out about how far out the music was. Every gig we did we never played a song the same way twice it was an adventure every time. Charles, Johnny Mac and Ronnie miss you so much my brother, you and your family are in their thoughts too.

***ATENTION***ATENTION***

To all of Tim's friends "Argentucky Blues" is going to be holding a fund raiser benefit for Tim's children which is tentative for August 16th at the Eagles Club in Davison from 2:00PM until Midnight. This should be confirmed in about a week. Please check out our website at www.argentuckyblues.com for updates. We are going to have several bands and many friends sitting in too. If you are interested in participating or playing at this event please contact me at argentuckyblues@gmail.com

Timmy was sooooo looking forward to playing the "I Chews The Blues" festival too, the day of his death we had an interview with the Flint Journal and Tim was so proud to be a member of Argentucky Blues he couldn't wait until August 1st got here because "He had an agenda" Tim said, little did I know that was the last time I would see him. We are still going to be playing our time slot but we will be using several of Tim's friends on guitar as a tribute so DO NOT miss it.

Peace my brother and God Speed,

P.S. Tell Billy Preston I said hi... oh and SRV too...
