About me:
I started playing percussion when I was six years old. Since then I've always been involved with music. I played in various symphonies and bands until I left to go to the University of Tennessee on a scholarship for music performance. I left the university after deciding I didn't want to go in that direction, and I decided to rethink my plans. During that time I began composing and working with various software, synths, as well as incorporating other instruments that I play (such as marimba, piano, drum set, misc. percussion) into my own music.
I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in the Recording Industry, with a concentration on Production & Technology, and a minor in Film.
I have worked on a live-action short, and 2 main film projects. Both of these were independent films made in the Nashville area. I was the Supervising Sound Editor as well as the Sound Re-recording Engineer for one of these, and I did contract work primarily dealing with noise reduction and dialog editing for the other. I also worked on a short animated project in school for a class (posted below). This was an already created film which I edited down, stripped completely of sound, and rebuilt from the ground up. I interned and worked at Triple S Entertainment, composing music and serving as a technical assistant with them in Nashville, Tennessee. I am currently teaching audio in Sacramento part-time at Pinnacle College in addition to freelancing in music engineering & production as well as audio post production.

Here is an example of some of my work (click on video below):
I made all of the sound for this, and edited the video down a bit, but the animation is from the Animatrix DVD-Movie

Doing good man...Just came across George Russell's "Lydian Chromatic Concept." Check it out man...Good Jazz resource. Other than that, same ol same ol. Get up, go to work, come home, make beats, and go to sleep. The next morning I wake up and do it all over again. What's crackin' with you?
