About me: I grew up in the Misty Mountains of Wales, a very beautiful and magical land.
Later on, I moved to London Town in Albion where I had heard stories of strange folk, flying machines and trains that travelled below the ground, and where the streets were paved with old bits of bubble-gum and I knew I had to be there.I enrolled at an Art College to study the art of portrying life as it is and as it isn't!
I hung out with musicians and film makers and worked in animation studios, painted huge theatre stage sets and started painting murals for bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants. Some of my work ended up on record covers and was even animated for MTV and shown from New Delhi to Hong Kong.
Around the early 90's after a very inspiring stay in Barcelona,I decided the only thing to do was to start painting large colourful paintings using acrylic on canvas.
I now exhibit my work around the world, from L.A to Tokyo.
After many many years I finally realised that there were other places in the universe apart from London Town, and so I packed my bag and left.I now live in Hannover in Germany and continue to design and paint.
My website www.timdavies.org shows a selection of my paintings and designs ... Here's more of my art from www.timdavies.org
