Lately I've been trying to figure out how to quit smoking. The main problem is that I don't really want to quit. After all, smoking is über hip and completely enjoyable. I just don't want to die from lung cancer at age 45. Plus I'm currently without health insurance so cancer is the last thing on my list of wants. If you have any great ideas let me know. And don't give me any of that "cold turkey" bovine excrement. Cold turkey only works if you've had an immediate family member die of lung cancer caused by smoking.
Music
I love my music. And while I'm trying to learn to apreciate other people's choices and tastes in music, I still feel my taste is best (I suppose that's why it's mine). Too many bands to name them all, but here are a few:
Arcade Fire, The Arctic Monkeys, Belle and Sebastian, Bob Dylan, Wilco, The Dandy Warhols, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Shins, The Coral, Iron and Wine, Travis, Kings of Leon, Of Montreal, The Subways, and so on...
Movies
Anything with good acting and a great story. Some recent good ones were The Last King of Scotland, Babel, and Children of Men. I love most war movies and movies about the ancients.
Every time I watch the Godfather, I want to forsake all and start my own little crime family. Then I watch part two and realize I might be better off not doing so.
Television
Not a huge fan of TV, but I try to follow a few series via "On Demand" or Netflix, including:
"Weeds"
"Mad Men"
"The Sopranos"
"Family Guy" is pretty funny.
This is one of my favorite commercials!

Both of my siblings have a large amount of influence on me. If not for them I would be someone totally different.
