Welcome to my My Space spot. Tina S. Marie is my "artist" name, but I go by Tina Emmett as well. I'm currently an artist residing in the Portland metro area. I've got 2 projects: Tina S. Marie Band and Stepchild. The Tina S. Marie project has been on-going since 1996. Since then, I've produced 2 albums and recorded vocals on others' work. My albums are: Namaste (1998) and Messages (2007). They are auto graphical in nature in that they tell stories about relationships, observations, feelings, epiphanies and the regular other stuff folks go through while living the "human" life. My songs on this page are just a smidgen of what I've written and recorded.
Namaste was recorded at Soundtracks Studio in Battleground, WA. at Burke Harris'. Ronn Chick was co-producer and engineer while providing extra instrument arrangements for my work. Most of the songs consist of my dealings with love, lust, and loss. Messages was co-produced by my friend, Steve Adams and engineered by Chael Emmett (my hubby) and Steve Adams.
Musicians on Messages: Steve Adams: guitar and Veriax acoustic instrument renderings; Chael Emmett: Bass, Flugle Horn and Backing Vocals; Anthony Rice (AJ): guitars and some good ideas; Derek Doggett: guitars; Jeff Newman: Drums; Jason Moore: Percussion; Kevin Burkhardt: keyboards. I'm the composer, executive producer, singer and guitar for the albums.
My band can be just me or 5 of us when there are live performances. Currently it exists as: Tina S. Marie, Chael Emmett, Derek Doggett, Jeff Newman and Jason Moore.
Patrice did the Artwork for Messages and Geoff Soentpiet did the photo art for Namaste. Both albums were graphically assembled by Steve Vaile.
I'm part of Stepchild, the classic rock cover band as well. We consist of Derek Doggett, Sam Manning, Jeff Newman and Me...Tina Girl. Check out our band by clicking on the Stepchild pic in my friends list.
To Order CD's, Please go to CDBaby.com/tinasmarie. I have 2 albums available there. Also, if you are living in Portland, you can purchase Messages and Namaste at: Music Millennium. CDBaby also has each song for digital download. I am working on my own website which should be up soon so that all you'll need to know and find me is my name.
That's about all I've got to say for now. Enjoy!!! Tina S. Marie

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

Hope Your concert at Domenic's went well for You and that You can kick back on Sunday and relax
I may be headed Your direction before the end of the year to see a dear Friend that lives in your area and if I do I am hopeful that I can come see You live.
Listening to "Namaste" right now and I so Love that CD, as it brings me much Peace and Love, so Your music is so soothing to me and yet seems it includes some of my life some how some way.
Hope the week ahead is filled with Love and Light Tina.
Sending You Love and total respect as a writer, musician, singer, and Friend, and may God Bless You and keep You in His arms.
