Tina Marie Williams is a 20 year old singer songerwriter with deathly pale skin and a crippling coffee dependency. Hailing from the tundras of Buffalo New York, Williams often found herself trapped inside her home due to terrifying and unpredictable snow storms. Many times in the middle of May. So perhaps it was out of sheer boredom that Tina first picked up an acoustic guitar and fumbled through the frets and callouses. Never one to ask for help, she would watch her big brother pluck the strings of his Fender Strat, and then did as he did. This lead to years of blistered fingers and Friday nights spent up in her room (which arguably would have been better spent out socializing.) Then finally, on the floor of a coffee shop, a fourteen year old Williams wrote her first song. It was love from there on out. She had contracted the bug.
Williams now has 2.5 albums under her proverbial belt and is ever developing her sound and her art. Being most recently influenced by the likes of Tom Waits and most prominently influenced by what she sees within her REM cycle, Williams is crafting a unique sound in this pop-punk world we live in. Tina just loves playing, and hopes that you love listening. Coming to a sketchy bar near you!
