In the mid-90's Brazilian producer Fernando Britto played guitar in shoegazer band Old Magic Pallas who released a critically acclaimed CD on an independendent label. Around the same time he started djing in some bars and clubs in Sao Paulo. So far he has performed at Torre, Egotrip, Espaco Retro, Terra Madre, Ampgalaxy, Vegas, D-Edge, A Loca and Gloria.
It was only in 2001 that Fernando decided to explore new musical territories under the moniker ‘Tin God’ using a jurrassic Pentium 166 running Cubase 2.8 and a Roland JV-1010. Despite his lo-fi gear and lack of experience as a producer, Tin God’s first demo EPs received great reviews from local mags and websites. See tingod+
His remixes and mashups (including Devo, The Police, Elastica & Primal Scream, Linda Lamb and No Porn) have been played by many Brazilian DJs as well as Erol Alkan, Jonty Skruff and 2 Many DJs and were released by French netlabel Sweet Smelling Surfaces in 2003. In 2006 Tin God's version of “Your Silent Face” was one of the 10 winners of New Order's official website tribute competition. The CD was out later the same year.
At around the same time Fernando wrote Pharmaceutical Breakdown which showed a new direction for his music. He then teamed up with mate Wendl V. and produced the 10 songs you can hear now, most of them fit like a glove in these times of information overdose and media-induced paranoia.
Fernando has also done the music for several TV commercials (Audi, Claro and Johnny Walker) and fashion shows (Basso & Brooke, Rosa Cha, Fause Haten and Ricardo Almeida) in Sao Paulo, Rio and London, where he currently lives.

hi fernando, The coarse is going well , it all seemed a little complicated to start with but its becoming more clearer now .The tutor is excellent ,a nice guy with alot of patients. Im going home for a couple of weeks but when i return i will give you a call and we'll go out for a few pints. what are you doing with yourself? are you still at point blank?
